Anson B Nixon Park is a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun and safe outdoor experience. This picturesque park is known for its immaculate cleanliness and well-maintained kid-friendly play areas.

The playgrounds at Anson B Nixon Park are diverse and engaging, with plenty of options for children of all ages. There are swings, slides, climbing structures, and even a splash pad for those hot summer days. Parents can relax on the benches and picnic tables while keeping a close eye on their little ones as they play.

The park's lake is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Sports enthusiasts will love the tennis courts and disc golf course at Anson B Nixon Park. The tennis courts are well-maintained, and visitors can bring their own equipment or rent it from the park. The disc golf course is challenging and rewarding, with 18 holes winding through the trees and across the park.

Overall, Anson B Nixon Park is a must-visit destination for families in search of a clean and engaging outdoor experience. With its fantastic play areas, scenic lake, and excellent sports facilities, there's something for everyone at this...

This was our first visit. We were introduced to Anson B. Nixon Park by one of our children and his wife who spoke enthusiastically about it. After our visit, we had to agree with them. My wife and I witnessed first hand the wide variety of activities offered here and we enjoyed seeing how much fun it was for four of our grandchildren (ages 2 through 10). We started on the playground equipment but spent the majority of our time exploring trails. The grounds were well-manicured and clean. The equipment appeared to be well maintained, too. It was a surprise, then, to find the subpar condition of the restrooms. The absence of T.P. was particularly unsettling. That said, three stars could be too harsh. I would give 3 1/2 if Google Maps allowed me that option. And I would still recommend a visit (just come prepared if you need to use the...

Great park located a short distance from the center of Kennett Square. I’m here mostly for the disc golf course which I’ve played many times and love. It’s tight and technical through the front 10 and then opens up for most of the rest of the course. The guys that maintain the course do an excellent job and there’s been considerable upgrades done since I first started playing here. Multiple tee pads and baskets on every hole.

Aside from the course there’s some nice walking/running trails, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball court, picnic pavilions, a playground, and other amenities. A little bit of something for everyone. There’s a stage where they host concerts in the park that are a good time even if it’s raining. The park is a big part of what makes Kennett a great place to...
