The service in store was for an authorized user on my account November 16, 2015. My friend needed a new phone . My account had explicit instructions/notes about the authorized user's making changes. Yet no one from the store accessed those notes. The sales rep KAI who was in training, upgraded the phone for my friend to a smart phone but did not explain that a smart phone would increase the monthly charges by $40.00. My friend asked specifically to have his own account which was not done. At checkout, the new phone charges would be added to the account and my friend asked what about a contract. He was told he was authorized user. About one hour later my friend returned to the store and told the salesperson and manager, James that he did not get what he asked for. He asked that I be called. The staff said that I had to be physically in the store. But I live in Florida. They refused to call me. The smart phone was exchanged, the new contract and new number was written up, although my friend had my authorization to KEEP his number. Another screw up. I later called the store and spoke with James the manager, who had been taking care of my friend. He spoke very fast and was robotic. Not at all friendly or apologetic. I felt like he was occupied with other business closing store while addressing my dissatisfaction. Making a sale of new phone upgrade seemed to be the only concern with this store. I would not recommend to this site. Poor customer service. Listening to the customer is the most important part of service. As well to retain that customer. I visit this area regularly. I grew up in this area. I think training new employees to listen is important to increase sales rather than give them "what they think the customer wants". This was what was said to...
Read moreThis is My first time to this particular location and I will say that right from the start the customer service and welcoming is above par. I was asked if I needed assistance when they thought I was struggling to make a decision, because I do tend to be very indecisive, but the fact that they weren’t pushy and were actually very helpful really made a difference. The entire staff at the East Windsor location is phenomenal. Jay and Victor have such great personalities and have excellent customer service skills. I Recommend this location to anyone looking for a new plan, accessories, a transfer of lines, anything literally AT&T related. These guys Are so knowledgeable and they bring so much to the table. We're old people who can barely turn our phones on without help from a teenager, let alone figure out all the items on our bill! Jose has many times straightened issues out for us with a few taps on our phone and I always feel like the salespeople in this store are looking out for our best interest. Yesterday Vincent went above and beyond to go through our bill with me, point out where we could be saving money AND signed up up for ATT-TV! Overall we will be saving around $150/month with the savings on our phone accounts as well as getting rid of duplicate streaming services.
