Let me first state that Coldstone is my favorite ice cream store and I have been buying ice cream at this location (and other locations) since the chain came to our area. I've always enjoyed great customer service and never made a complaint about any products at ANY location...until now. This weekend, I ordered the Chocolate Devotion with Silk Almond Milk icecream from the East Windsor location, Saturday evening. When I took my first bite, the chocolate chips were so hard and old, I nearly cracked my tooth! Since this is my usual order at Coldstone, I knew this wasn't the usual way it tasted.
I went back inside the store and stood in line for 15 minutes to ask if they could replace it with a different order because the chips were stale. The young lady behind the counter said,''We haven't had anyone else complain. That's just how we make it. We can't make you another order.'' When I asked to speak to a manager, she said,''There is no manager here. Do you want me to call the corporate office? You'll be waiting a long time.'' I repeated that I would just like something different, not a refund. She shrugged her shoulders and said,''Well, I don't know what you want me to do. We don't really do that here.'' Rather than make a scene, I informed her I would be making a complaint and she once again shrugged and said,''Okay.'' As I stated previously, my family loves Coldstone. With so many locations closing, I would assume the remaining stores hope to stay in business. Serving stale food and having a cavalier attitude about it is a sure way to lose customers. On top of that, the place looks beat up and dirty inside. There were brown spots on the walls and trash everywhere. The spoon and napkin dispensers were also empty. They just don't care anymore...

So sorry that there’s only two of you working on such a busy day. Even though it was busy they both did an amazing job. They worked together and fast to get everyone their orders in a great mood.
I would like to point out that after our ice cream was mixed we went to the register to pay, there was an older man in front of us. He ordered two ice creams and wanted one for free. After he put his phone number in their system there was no reward offers available, but he kept yelling and insisting Cold Stone sent him an email for a free ice cream. It’s so sad to see how some people treat others. This man was nasty and rude, and walked out because the cashier didn’t give him ice cream for free. He tried showing my boyfriend his email telling the cashier it’s not his problem his phone number didn’t bring up any points it’s HER problem. 🤦🏾♀️ I don’t understand why he couldn’t retrieve the correct phone number his account is set up with. He had us standing there while he continued to be nasty. Some people should just stay home if they don’t know how to treat others when they are out and about. Read moreDO NOT go to this location. I just moved here and was excited to have a cold stone near me but I will not be going back and will go to other locations if I pass by them. Worst service I have received at a cold stone and I have worked in the food industry so I am very empathetic and understanding of what they deal with. So it takes quite a bit to write this review as you can imagine. I ordered something small for delivery and they forgot part of my order in the delivery. Mistakes happen so I get that. I simply called and politely explained and asked for a refund. They said the manager only can do it and would call me later. They never did so I called again and they still said they cant get a hold of the manager. And they didnt know when he will be in. So they offered to make the part of my order that was forgotten and instead of delivering it, I had to go pick it up. It also was not apparently comunicated that I would be coming later to get it even though I mentioned that 3 times.
