It was around 11 in the morning when my friend and I, visited this restaurant. When we went to counter for order, the lady said they are not taking any kitchen order as Head chef has not come yet. This according to me is crime. It’s 11 in the morning and chef being not present. After few minutes of wait, they stared taking order and my friend ordered spring dosa and I took Masala Tea. Tea was just okay but my friend didn’t like the Dosa. While the presentation was good but the taste of Sambhar or Dosa was not that great. This location has lot of sweets and they sell in variety of gift boxes during festival with additional fee. Since it’s very close to Patel and In future I will go to this place only if I am very hungry when I am visiting Patel, otherwise I won’t go just to this restaurant.

Sukhadia’s kesar jalebis are to die for - unparalleled, even after bringing in most shops back in India. I’m unable to palate jalebis in Kolkata after being acquainted with Sukhadia’s. So when we found ourselves leaving Six Flags hungry for a snack, and discovered this location a mere 11 miles away, we were excited! Unfortunately it looks like the sweets are still their best skills. The channa bhatoras were the best of what we ordered. The dahi puris were horrible. The masala soda - an easy mix of black salt and coke - was massacred beyond comprehension and had to be dumped. The hakka noodles were a gravy laden mess. Vada Pau was ok. In short - stick to the sweets. The hot food is nowhere close to what we get in Khasiyat or Mogul Express.

After checking in hotel in East Windsor NJ checked nearby Indian restaurant and selected fully vegetarian fast food and snacks store type unit located near Patel Brothers another full service grocery store and nearby cinema in a strip mall.. After checking menu orders puri bread and undhiu / mixed vegetables steam cooked with spices and potato’s . Also sweet dish of Shrikhand- creamy milk based with Saffron flavored. Combo came with picked and fried green pepper!! Had enough sit down area for groups and four some tables. After eating did buy suterfani and other crunchy snacks and Jalebi- sweet flour based cooked in oil and then submerged in sugar liquid and dried

WORST customer service. I don't even have words to describe the behavior of the customer service representative at the cash register. The older lady at the register is completely rude. She doesn't have basic customer relations etiquette. If you don't know how to behave with your customers what's the point of opening a big fancy colorful shop. Who are you trying to fool ? It doesn't matter how your quality of food is if you treat your customer badly it will directly reflect on to the product you serve.

We are highly skilled and successful individuals wanting to be in a high class society. We treat everyone with respect and expect to be treated respectfully. And the petty behavior from the older lady was not at all acceptable. What's the point of having a high class exterior if the employees inside are treating your customers like a third grade citizen. I was very polite in making my request but the older lady had the audacity to treat me like I was some kind of untouchable, not worthy of service. And the younger lady to the side is lost in her own world wouldn't even bother to listen to what I was saying. We have a veriety of Indian food outlets to choose from and we bring business to you, and this is how you treat us? Pathetic!! I was silent the entire time I was in the shop out of respect to the older ladys age, and didn't want to cause a scene in public. But I can't accept the disrespect I faced. Very very very poor customer service. I kindly request the concerned person to look in to the behavior of your staff. And I am NEVER returning to the store again. And I would NEVER recommend anyone going there either. There are a lot of quality Indian places nearby where people are polite and respectful towards their customers. Even one star is very high. I wish there was negative...

Sukhadia's Sweet Shop is a delightful gem for anyone with a sweet tooth, offering a wide array of traditional Indian sweets that are sure to please. Our visit was highlighted by their delicious jalebis, which were nothing short of exceptional.

The jalebis at Sukhadia's were freshly made, and their vibrant orange color immediately caught our eye. They were perfectly crisp on the outside, with a delightful syrupy sweetness that was neither too overwhelming nor too subtle. The balance of textures, with the crunchy exterior and the soft, juicy interior, made each bite a heavenly experience.

What sets Sukhadia's Sweet Shop apart is not just the quality of their sweets, but also the evident care and skill in their preparation. The jalebis were intricately swirled, showcasing the expertise of their confectioners. The aroma wafting through the shop was inviting and nostalgic, adding to the overall experience.

Beyond the jalebis, the shop itself exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, eager to help us choose from their extensive selection of sweets. The display counters were well-organized and clean, allowing us to see the variety of treats on offer.

In summary, Sukhadia's Sweet Shop provided an outstanding experience with their delicious jalebis. Their commitment to quality and authenticity was evident in every bite, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in traditional Indian sweets. We left with satisfied taste buds and a strong desire to return for more of their...

I had the misfortune of visiting Sukhadia's Sweets recently, hoping to enjoy some quality Indian sweets and snacks. However, the experience turned out to be anything but sweet.

From the moment we walked in, the service was lackluster. The staff seemed disinterested in serving customers; there was no greeting, no smile, just a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. When we finally got the attention of an employee to place an order, their attitude was outright rude. They seemed annoyed by our questions about the menu, providing curt and unhelpful responses.

The wait for our order was inexplicably long, despite the place not being particularly busy. When the sweets finally arrived, they were mediocre at best, not at all justifying the poor service. It felt like they were just going through the motions, with no care for customer satisfaction.

Moreover, when we brought up an issue with one of the items, the staff's response was dismissive and borderline confrontational, showing no intent to resolve the problem or apologize for the inconvenience.

In summary, Sukhadia's Sweets provided a disappointing experience with subpar sweets, appalling service, and staff that could use a significant lesson in customer service. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your sweet cravings. There are plenty of other places where your business will be appreciated, and the sweets are...
