No stars..serious failure here. People who need medical supplies are truly in need. In some way they suffer more than others. I met with the part owner to discuss getting a new power chair my insurance would have covered. I attempted to call Medi Mart weekly than daily. He came out and measured my home as part of the process. I made requests of the Excellent staff of Edward Fein MD's office in Jamesburg to document multiple forms and letters concerning the needs of my chair. This procrastinater lied countless times. I informed him in July I was due for a new power chair. I had reach maximum out of pocket expense on my insurance and I would not have any out of pocket with the age of my existing chair. This clown promised me, assured me, lied to me stating I would have my new chair before I moved in Nov. I would call, get a staff member and though calling so often and he told me my chair would be &70,000. But they never knew who I was. As my move got closer my attempts to see and speak to the wheelchair specialist he refused to speak with me. I learned there is a serious problem in this store. He enjoys boasting about his skills, expertise and people he was trained by, but fir months he would not return nor take my calls. I was pleading with the staff. I had put over $3,000 out of pocket in repairs and went more than a year total in 5 without my chair because of the first supplier Nexus Medical. Finally, 2 weeks before I was to move I was confided in about this con man. And learned from the manufacturer the cost was closer to $10,000. This person apologized profusely. He never moved to process my chair at all. I moved with my old chair with parts failing regularly. Since moving Blue Cross was wonderful. Hooked me up with a great supplier Nu Motion here in NC. I have had service 5 times in the chair. Presently I cannot turn it off or it will not come on. My new chair is due in 2 weeks at 1/2 the price the insurance quoted on the last chair.( they did not have the paperwork for all my needs.. It was an estimate.) Now, our insurance costs have gone up and max out of pocket almost doubled. Now we will have to pay a great deal out of pocket, ALL because of the Untruthful, sneaky, lying coiner of Medimart in East Winsdor NJ. Most employees there were lovely. But he hid my file so no employees knew of my order.
In dealing with any needs for the disabled, I and surely the countless I have gotten to know, have been taken advantage of by mobility companies in every aspect of our needs. Sounds easy for Neto complain ... Poor woman is disabled and thinks She's the victim. Not!

Before coming in, I called inquiring about the process for receiving an insurance covered breast pump. I was told by one of their associates that they only carry a few in store, but if I give them the information for another, they can order it and I'd just pay the difference that insurance did not cover. Completely reasonable.
I went in, and was told the same information by the person helping me with my paperwork - if I want a different brand, give them the information, and they will order it, I'd pay the difference. I was told the paperwork would take 30 minutes to process, then I could come back and get my breast pump. Two hours later, I call, and an associate tells me she wasn't sure what was in stock, and I'd have to wait for the delivery guy to come back. I asked how long that would be, and was told "around an hour." I finally got a call back, and received a breast pump.
Over the weekend, I did research on the breast pump I was given, and could find absolutely no reviews on it anywhere. Box unopened, I decided I wanted to take their initial advice and order the one I wanted and pay the difference.
I called, gave them the company and model number of the pump I wanted, and was told I'd hear back with the price difference so I could make my decision. After an hour and a half, I hadn't received any such call, so I called in. I was immediately told, "We can't do that." I requested to speak to the manager, because I had been told on three previous occasions that they do.
In speaking with the manager, he became incredibly rude and agitated, going so far as to yell at me over the phone that the pump they carry "is more preferred" by pregnant women, and he (very threateningly) offered to email me the one article that claimed so. I said I wasn't interested, wanted the brand I wanted, and was told his store would be able to order it, etc. He became even more agitated, told me my only options were to get the pump HE (not a doctor in any way) recommended, or get my prescription back and go elsewhere.
This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. To be literally reprimanded and yelled at by a store owner is completely unacceptable, and I will never be using their services again. However, due to covid and stores closed, the store I use wasn’t open. Therefore, it was recc to try here again. 1 month lAter - still no product. I was told just text your info and they will order. Owner told me in network with my insurance. They said no, went back and said you told me u were. Then they said we bill under another name too. That was in network . Owner told me to go find another provider if I didn’t like the way she was going to bill.. basically try it and I would have to pay if not covered. because she said she didn’t want to wait on hold to get my items predetermined. . I knew 1 would be covered per my insurance. I bought my own out of pocket elsewhere. Then after almost a month, of owner avoiding my ques. The manager orders it for me but it goes to wrong address!!!! Told me can’t help but ship co. Said your address was wrong from shipper. Then I called them and they said wow!
