City Streets Bar & Grill — Restaurant in East Windsor Township

Arrived at 3:35 pm on a rainy day after driving 3.5 hours from Maryland. Wanted to get dinner to go Hostess didn’t know anything about the menu Found a waitress at the bar area and she was very pleasant and wasn’t sure either about my choice but did go get the answers. She told me that if I ordered immediately (3:45 pm) that the price was different by $2. I said ok because I just wanted to get food and go. I was fine with the extra $2. When I asked about the salad dressings she said ‘oh sorry but the early dinner doesn’t include salad and I’ve already put the order in….’ She took my card and I paid almost $22 dollars for the $17 meal and some cranberry sauce which doesn’t come with a turkey dinner. I left pleasant girl a tip. While I waited I found the manager and explained all of this to her and I thought she’ll do the right thing and throw in the salad but NO. Someone brought the food out in 3 separate plastic slippery containers so I asked for a bag. The one thing that the hostess knew was that bags cost extra. I haven’t tasted the food yet because my stomach is upset with this whole situation. I really should have rated this place a single star. Finally ate. Turkey was real and good. I meet a friend there yesterday for the first time. Atmosphere was ok, service wasn't so good. She acted like she had an attitude and didn't want to be there. Anyways I ordered a burger and my friend had the salmon. I told here I wanted my burger medium well. The burger came well done , dry and hard , no taste whats you ever. I had to add s/p, and lots of ketchup and mayo. I didnt send it back cause I didnt want to see boogie or anything. My friend had the salmon, the end part was still shimmy and not cooked , sent it back and came out partly cooked. 1st of all the part shouldn't even be on the salmon ot should be cut off. Only restaurant i know that cooks the salmon with that part still on. I dint cook it at home like that. Anyways the salmon was very very dry, no seasoning, salt/pepper , nothing, straight bland. The mash potatoes were definitely instant out the box or bag. Nooo taste what so ever. No salt , pepper, butter nothing, just dry and cold. She tried to send it back but was told , she couldn't just because she didn't like it. Who the hell gonna pay for something they don't want or it not good. The food was and is TRASH, bottom line. That was my first and last time. I would never ever thing about eating there again. Thank you...

I generally enjoy coming here for food and drink. Been coming many years. I enjoy the food. I’ve heard other people complain of bug problems in the kitchen and years ago I did see an ant cooked into my onion ring so I don’t order that anymore but I’ve had no food problems since.

Great drinks. Generally good service but one particular older waitress has been rude to me and my family on numerous occasions which should be unacceptable. A big deterrent. Any other server is usually fine and kind. I enjoy sitting at the bar for better service when I can.

Recently dined in for a holiday and it seemed the establishment was not well equipped to be serving people. The waitress would not allow my party to order food with drinks at the same time. Said drinks only then we waited 10 more minutes to be allowed to order food. One of the people I was with was not served her meal until 30 minutes after everyone else. A table with a large party next to us had a similar problem with one person not served their meal for about 40 minutes! Will not be coming back during a...
