Madison Park — Local services in Eastlake

This is easily the best water slide in town. When I was 16 years old, my friend was a lifeguard and she was dating my other friend and they were having a very important high school couple conversation. I knew nothing about those because, I'm a bad boy and would go stag at homecoming. Anyways, the pool was closed but the lifeguard left it open so they can talk which means that I had full-on access to the slide. I perpetually went down the slide so that while they were discussing their teenaged drama they kept seeing a high school junior going down a slide on a loop out of the corner of their eyes. I must've gone down that slide 10 times in a row in my attempt to make fun of them but I don't think anyone has...

So i used to have a lil daughter and a niece that I would hit all the surrounding public pools with heavy for 10 summers and this is one of the only ones around Cleve that has a legit diving board and I nice twisty slide but just know they measuring them kids for both so check before u go there that the ones u taking can atleat do the slide bc I made that mistake and paid dearly they cold shoulder me and side eye me the whole time I was flying through the air and doing back flips off the diving board and going face first down the 🛝 yo its not my fault bc these kids slow growers lol 😉 I paid my dues when I was there age to buy they wasn't happy but I definitely was sorry...

I used to come here several times each week, whether it be just for a walk or to take a dip in the pool. Most often, I would be found on the tennis courts that were once there. Unfortunately, when they resurfaced the courts, they did not replace the nets for tennis, but instead some other sport that is typically played indoors. I guess I took for granted the convenience of being able to play whenever I pleased, as this park is only a couple streets away from me.
