Apple Jax Toys Lakewood — Local services in Lakewood

I went to Apple Jax to get a gift for my nephew. I was looking for something King Kong or Transformers related - staff helped me find what they did have in stock but was out of my price range! While I was walking around starry-eyed over so many small things that brought up memories from the extreme depths, one of the staff members found a promotional transformers item for me to gift to my nephew! I was so incredibly touched by the kindness and persistence to help me find something so specific for him.

In addition to the promotional item, I also grabbed a VERY large (but not the biggest available) whoopee cushion and instant underpants for my nephew. He absolutely loved everything (and so did his cousin and brother who were playing with the new toys as much as they could)!!

I have to say the whoopee cushion is the best I have ever experienced. It is SO LOUD and the sound lasts soooooo much longer than the standard quick tooting whoopee cushion. Since it does hold such an impressive amount of air, one can really get creative with release styles which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it, it was an absolute crowd pleaser and I’m already planning on getting him (or someone, might be myself at this rate) the bigger size for Christmas. My spouse claims he has never seen me laugh harder than when that giant whoopee cushion was going off.

I will be returning to Apple Jax time and time again! The kindness of the staff and the time they took to listen to me and answer my questions and even the tissue paper and birthday button they added to bag was above and beyond. On top of that, their expansive stock brings so much joy. They are definitely a small business I will support and encourage everyone I know to visit...

After a disappointing morning I found my self looking for a boost of serotonin (retail therapy!) I made my way to this lovely location, which by the way I’m so happy to have in town! Since losing Bigfun way back when.

I was browsing around the transformers area, Looking for anything that stood out. Collected a few figures and made my way to the counter. As I made my way up… There it was laying under a few other boxes but it was calling out like the heavens above! The figure I had been searching for since its release! They hadn’t priced it out yet. My heart started racing as I told the nice ladies behind the counter “I’ll buy it right now!”

I paced with anticipation as she searched for a price, she then made a phone call and my heart started pumping even faster! As she ended the phone call I turned around bright eyed! She gave me the price and a reasonable one too! Especially after all the hard work looking for this figure. I took my wallet out and purchased it on the spot!!!

I just visited and let me tell you, if you're looking for something for your child or like me a collector Alan is the man to go to. Incredibly diverse selection. I was born in 1985 and it was like reliving my childhood. Star Wars, Lego, GI Joe, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Hot Wheels, Apple Jax has it all. There's honestly just too much to write and rave about. That's not even counting Alan and crew. They're the kind of guys that enjoy just talking about the products and collectibles. 10/10, would return for anything that I could get there. Prices are incredible. If you haven't stopped in all I can say is you're missing an amazing experience, even without making a purchase. Go relive your childhood! Show your children what real toys are like! Or just stop on and have a conversation with Alan about whatever you're particular niche may be. They have it and they love to...
