Before coming home for fall break freshman year, I wanted to get a quick haircut. Since I didn't know the other barbers around campus, I tried out Matraxia. Thing is I got in there, got my hair cut and left as soon as possible. Why? Because it was one of the strangest interactions I've ever had with a barber. While he may have had an off day, the cut wasnt great and it was more expensive that I was used to. Ever since, I have heard neutral to negative things about the shop. Either that the conversation was strange or that the barber, for instance, wants you to go to the Sand Casino with him... Let's just say that there are a couple other 'hair salons' in the vicinity of college that offer a friendlier service as well as a better cut. But by all means, if you want to have an interesting experience, try out Matraxia...

Right after starting we walked down the street from Wawa to our first check point which was out front of the shop. It started to rain so I had my husband run back to the car to grab an umbrella. While the rest of us waited for him, the owner came out threatening to call the cops and then took a picture of us. We were literally just standing there in a circle talking and were very confused. We tried to ask why and he proceeded to say get away from my shop or I’m calling the easton police. Then he turned his phone around to show us that the number for the police was dialed.
