New UPDATE: 09/26/23 It has been more than two weeks. I've been leaving voice messages to this company named Gallagher Bassett which handles Costco claims. I've not gotten a call back at all. Posted on 09/14/23 Recently have one of my tire repaired at this location and the technician damaged my rim during the process. He denied wrong doing and I filed a claim with Costco. But this is where the hell begins. Not too long after I received a voice message from Gallagher Bassett which apparently takes care of Costco Claims. I thought I can settle and move on. Wrong...I've been calling and leaving messages daily but the person who handles my claim never call back. This company located in Saint Charles, MO. There is two hours time difference. Fine, I make sure to call during office hours but nope..voice mail is all I reached every time I called. I'm totally disappointed at how Costco handles this situation. Definitely gave me a clear view of how their upper division handle customer services.

We went here today to get pokemon cards. They said they "sold out," so we decided to make a different purchase. While we were in the self checkout an employee was walking past us with two items of pokemon cards. I asked her if they were go backs and she said yes. I expressed my interest in purchasing them because we were told they were out. She placed them in a go back cart and said she had to ask the manager what she was going to do with them first. We'll it turns out the manager wanted them and said they were already purchased. As she stood there at a self checkout herself. The supervisor at the self checkout when asked about the go backs she purchased for herself stated that they just put out 2 pallets and they had tons of issues. It was chaos and people were asking other members to buy cards for them. Which I guess they were trying to avoid. The fact that the cards were there and we weren't allowed to purchase them was absolutely trash! This place is sketchy IMO.

Junk! Tool box I bought falling apart... Shocks leaking, wheels falling apart.. tennis shoes ripping apart, avocado hard and like rubber, fruit hit or miss.... Garden hose's are bad,, People need to speak out and demand Costco stop selling junk... Check your receipts.... Bought a watermelon and it was marked $5.89. After I paid for it along with other stuff, looking at my receipt they charged me $6.99 Went and told them and they checked and yes they marked it wrong and gave me the difference... Yes $1.10 don't sound a lot but times thousands of people will add up...... Check your receipts!

I still brought my daughter shopping this Sunday, but this time I was treated very unfairly. After I paid my bill, I waited in line at the membership counter with my little girl in her shopping cart, ready to ask about the less than $60 cashback on last year's EXCLUSIVE card. (I saw a share on the social media platform that users with an EXCLUSIVE card that costs $120 a year can either downgrade to the $60 adult gold card or refund the difference. So I also want to know if the consultation is true). There was a middle-aged white lady and a man in front of the queue. The middle-aged white lady was soon served by someone with a good attitude and chatted for at least 40 minutes. But the man in front of me and I were not so lucky, we waited for half an hour, still no one, inexplicably there are four counters, standing about 5 male and 3 female staff, they did not even politely tell us to wait a little bit, they were just there to laugh and chat! The work attitude is not serious, not responsible, very perfunctory, I doubt Costco's staff training and enterprise spirit, what is the value? It was really a long wait, my daughter was a little difficult, but I was still calm, I saw that the first counter was empty, I went to the polite consultation, was told that I need a staff named Anthony to serve me, so I quickly returned to the line to wait. After another 10 minutes of waiting, no one helped the man and me in front of me (even though there was an empty counter, even though there were staff members there) and a couple cut in line, but the staff actually helped them! I was very angry, I did not understand why it was ignored, I told one of the male employees, I need to find the person in charge, did not think, this so-called manager kept explaining, did not realize the problem, and did not apologize, at this time my daughter was about to cry, I told him, if your employees treat customers kindly, it does not matter if you wait a little longer. It's a shame they can't even say a word, but they're there talking and laughing and fighting? I think the reason why Costco East Valley is doing this is racist, I can't think of any other reason, I have not encountered this kind of thing in other stores. I wonder who gave Costco East Valley the courage to bully a mom and a little girl? ! Can ignore the customer experience, not even a little respect and courtesy to the customer! A weak woman and little girl were racially abused, bullied, ignored, and disrespectfully treated by Costco's East Valley membership...

This Costco was much anticipated seeing as we've been having to drive to the San Dimas Costco where we used to shop to get anything seeing as the other "nearby" Costcos are horrible. This is 3 minutes from my house. But so far it's been a bit of a disappointment. I'm toying with idea of still continuing to shop at the San Dimas Costco if things do not improve. I may drop my Executive Business and my parents memberships all together as right now there is very little savings having to still drive an hour there and sometimes two back or just buy what they don't have at this one at Walmart. Despite the higher price it's less gas and less of my day eaten away. The eating area size is ridiculously small and the way it's situated makes exiting even on a slow day a nightmare. They are still missing key products that even the cruddy Costcos have. And the cellular signal is so bad in there that once you are 5ft inside you can kiss looking at any digital lists, looking up anything, calling anyone, or using your tap to pay features at any of the pay points. The either needs to be WiFi that customers can connect to or they need to get a strong set cellular repeaters in there pronto. They also need to do something about the flies. I understand we live in cow territory but seriously I couldn't buy several things from the bakery or the meat department with any confidence because of the swarm of flies landing on and getting into the packaging. They've got the blowers on at the door but it's not enough the way the wind whips around there. Two days in a row you could hear the blowers but the wind was literally whipping into the building so hard it disrupted the blowers. And there is no blower over the return door so you could watch the flies going in and out without a care there too. The flies dogged us while we tried to eat at the food court. Myself and my daughter are hypoglycemic so some times it's not an option to leave and eat. The no chocolate swirl yogurt is just an inconvenience but an irritating one. A large amount of the families moving into the New Haven developments across from this location are from the areas that shop at the Azusa and San Dimas Costcos, maybe survey them instead of the Costcos out...

Going to Costco is an EXCITING ADVENTURE AND A SCAVENGER HUNT ALL ROLLED INTO ONE!

It's like NOW YOU SEE IT NOW YOU DON'T or HIDE AND SEEK.

It is so funny how you can go in on Tuesday and see something you like and buy it then come back on Wednesday to buy another one because it fit so great.

So you go back to the very same SPOT you found the item on Tuesday and now there is SOMETHING eles in that very same SPOT.

So the hunt begins you start LOOKING high and low you look down every aisle for your item.

And of course in the process you find other treasures or must have items which is very SMART MARKETING on behalf of Costco.

The CONSTANT MOVING AND RESTOCKING OF ITEMS only adds to the adventure of what is new or perceived as new because of the new LOCATION from YESTERDAY.

Shopping at Costco is a feast for the eyes there is so much to see you head begins to spin and the fact you can easily touch all the merchandise is an added bonus.

And to add more pleasure to you ADVENTURE there is the added SATISFACTION of enjoying free samples to your heart's CONTENT.

And if you want a more generous portions you may simply walk over to the Restaurant section and ORDER a variety of wonderfully prepared food items also very reasonable priced.

Costco is an adults amusement park where is good and drink and toys to enjoy such as T.V.'S, TOOLS, NEW GADGETS OF ALL KINDS AND INTEREST to see, to touch and try out.

I only became a Costco Executive member for the first time this year and I have been so impressed with the excitement and pleasure of sitting and watching all the shoppers as o enjoy my free samples.

I must admit when I do FINALLY get off my chair and shop I love the PRICES and SELECTION of merchandise.

And here is one very point to remember if you see an item you like and you really like it buy more than one or two WHY you ask.

BECAUSE it may not be there in your size, color or style tomorrow it is safer to buy more than LESS you can always return it but once it is gone it is gone and may not return.

So enjoy your adventure there is nothing like it.

Costco is one place where your time and money are well...
