1 star for the rude condescending behavior of the 2 staff members Tuesday February 18 around 6pm. Ownership should read .
I came to your eastvale location on Tuesday February 18 at 5:50pm. I asked for a table for 4 and the host and servers offered a small 4 top that was extremely tight and small.
We politely asked for an open larger table towards the back of the room. When we did the staff rolled their eyes at us and said we couldn't.... we have a small baby and weren’t comfortable with such a small tight table that is essentially inches from the next table. There was no elbow room at all and our other guest is 6’4 and the table was very small.
I told them the restaurant was half empty. Can we please have the larger table because we have a baby and the space is real tight. They stood firm and said no. Continued shaking their head and rolling their eyes at each other in a way to mock me. I told them if we can't get a larger table when the dining room is empty.... We'll go somewhere else to eat. They smirked and said ok thank you goodbye. I’m sure this isn’t what ownership or upper management would want . But their egos are already set that we were either sitting at the small table or they weren’t serving us.
In my experience these teenage workers didn't care about the reputation or service of the restaurant and literally turned down a paying table of 4 because from an ego they wanted to stand firm on the table they offered us. We did in fact leave and eat elsewhere. Also will not be recommending this place to anyone else based on the poor attitudes . Floors were also dirty greasy and slippery from the grease.
Ownership should know these 2 employees (male, wears glasses, Asian) and his other co worker also male are pushing your customers...
Read moreI don't normally write reviews unless a business a very good or very bad. Unfortunately, this one is BAD, I give 2 star for the meats but everything else is just HORRIBLE! First of all, I never seen any Korean BBQ table that has no protection board underneath the table that separates the grill burner and the customer, at this place, you can feel the heat while you cook the meat, and the oil keeps splashing out from the burner gap. If you wore shorts and happens to move your leg up, you will get your knee burner very bad like my friend, and the server and the manager seem don't take it seriously and then tell you "Sorry, but we never had this happen before", which said you get burned that's your problem, nothing to do with our tables"
Secondly, I have no idea why they have moving spotlights on the ceiling then a red/blue/green light will shoot right into your eyes every minute while you eating, and they don't want to turn that off even though I have clearly informed the server that my eyes were uncomfortable, I guess they just don't care your dining experience.
Part of the table setup is also wrong, there are 4 table in the center area that are very close to each other, which make it very hard to get in & out, and you keep bumping into people sitting back to back with you, and the surrounding area is surprisingly wild open.
Lastly, the floor is very greasy, and when an uncleaned greasy floor is added up with cheap chairs with pointy legs, you will end up sliding away from the table the whole time.
That is what dining experience you will get from this place. I wish they could improve, as an Eastvale resident, I am happy to see more and more restaurants coming to town, but is one is sure a big...
Read moreWe didn't do the Wagyu menu which was fine because their regular menu was pretty tasty on its own. The meats were pretty marinated so you can taste the flavors really well without having to dip the meat in any sauce. You have to order eat food item on your own because the only starter item they give you is a bowl of house salad. They don't have corn cheese, instead they have a cheese fondue similar to nacho cheese and not the super stretchy cheese and they have a cob of corn instead of stripped corn. The music choice is EDM instead of Kpop. There's a tablet in front that you use to sign up to put your place in line for a table. The vibe is industrial feel so expect exposed gas lines under the tables. The grill is a classic rectangular grill instead of the circle grill. The meat order came out pretty fast. They do charge kids by their height so anyone above 2.5 ft expect to pay $15 and kids under 5 ft is 50% which is common for more upscale KBBQ places to secure a seat. The only thing that didn't like was that the tables were too close so when the worker was cleaning the next table, accidentally got a mist of cleaning solution all over in our face and on our food but the grill should cook that right off.
Update: The place is hella dirty and full of grime. You can tell the place doesn't get thoroughly cleaned by the giant spider web nest by the front door. Behind the bar is a puddle trail of water that's ready for someone to slip on if you're not stuck to the sticky floor. Our server today only came to us like 3 times, the rest of the time we always had to flag him down when he went to the table next to us otherwise he would just turn around and walk...
