If you’re in need of a store that combines chaotic organization, nonexistent customer service, and pure frustration, look no further! This location checks EVERY box.
Where to begin? I stopped by to grab a simple full-length broom with a dustpan—should be a straightforward task, right? Wrong. The options on offer were pitiful: bent handles, mismatched pieces, and even some broom sets missing dustpans altogether. After roaming the entire store just to hunt for this basic item (thanks for the extra steps, I guess?), I was disappointed to find nothing but broken, dysfunctional brooms and dustpans still sold at full price.
Then, the shoes. I found a pair on the clearance rack, marked with a $16 sticker. After an excruciatingly long wait at the register—since this place only ever staffs two cashiers—the cashier immediately claimed the price was “wrong” and tore off the sticker. Not only was that disappointing, but she actually insinuated that I’d slapped the sticker on the shoes myself, because apparently, customers just carry around clearance stickers for fun? When I clarified that I found the shoes on the clearance rack, she explained that employees sometimes put items there “by mistake,” so it was somehow my problem. Excuse me, but if your staff can’t keep items in the right places, that’s on you—not the customer.
And the store’s general condition? Let’s just say you’d better watch your step. There were notebooks strewn across the floor, creating slip hazards. Random items were scattered all over: baskets, pillows, towels—you name it. There purses were tangled. The clothes hung halfway. Navigating this cluttered maze took far longer than it should have, all for a shopping experience that ended in frustration and zero purchases.
Unless you have hours of free time, a tolerance for disorganized messes, and no expectations of being treated with respect, I’d suggest steering clear of this location. There’s potential here, but only if they decide to get their act together. Until then, avoid...
Read moreI've never felt so disrespected at a tjmaxx store I went earlier today with my family and I went down the purse aisle and I was with my two daughters and a worker kept on following me as I was holding three purses which I couldn't decide which one to purchase and this worker kept on going up and down checking on me till I confronted her and called her out on it why she was following me? Like seriously I'm not going to steal purses with my family and I wouldn't do such thing! I wish I could've gotten her name she was a short Hispanic lady with long blondish hair with glasses all I'm going to say is SHAME ON HER! I hope next time i goI'm not being followed again I will gladly report...
Read moreBlack and brown customers are not welcomed here! I understand that this store had some issues with theft, but that gives them no right to profile people. I’ve had “customers” (aka secret shoppers) follow me down every aisle and watch me. Yesterday, the security guard walked up to me while I was looking at glasses and just stared at me dead on. Didn’t say a word to me, just stared so obviously. My partner pointed out that she was wearing a body cam and was most likely trying to record me. Wow. Just wow. The irony is, some little girls got into a fight here and they got to stay and continue shopping. I guess you have to be the right color. Hate...
