Culver’s — Restaurant in Eau Claire

This is a very fine place to eat. The staff are incredibly friendly and never make me feel like I’m doing the wrong thing. The food is always a banger, and the strawberry shakes are perfection. I only have two reasons why I took a star off. The first reason is that one day I went through the drive-through, and I looked like I had woken from a 10-year coma, and I saw someone I knew working. I was slightly mortified, but he just gave me my number, and I drove off. We have never acknowledged the moment, and I never plan to bring it up. Reason two: the most recent time I had gone here, I was extremely sick, and after I ate my food (which was very good, I might add), 45 minutes of my evening were spent on the toilet. After I washed my hands, I realized my sickness had seemed to go down. I was not sure if I should curse Culver’s for that or thank them. Drive thru service of Culver in Eau Claire Wisconsin right on Folsom is lousy. They mess up orders consistently or do not include your full order. Making it home to realize your order is missing something is very frustrating and destroys dinner time with family when having to drive back to Culver. I continue to hope that this place gets it right yet I constantly experience issues with the drive thru service. Sometime I be thinking I am experiencing this because I am black? I hope not, I seek to think the best but service and food and drinks do not be made to one’s order and sometime do not include my full order. Decided to get myself a sweet treat tonight – a concrete mixer with brownie pieces. Nothing crazy, nothing abnormal. I waited for over 20 minutes before someone approached my car. I explained to her I just had a concrete mixer with brownie pieces and showed her my receipt and mentioned that I had been waiting for 20+ minutes now. Shortly after she came back out with my concrete mixer, which was practically soup. She stated that it was in the wrong location, but gave me extra napkins because the cup was sweating.
