Customer service repeatedly lost my credentials during repairs. I needed to send my phone back three separate times after the initial repair. The phone was serviced for a warranty camera glass repair, which resulted in two displays being broken (both of which from faulty repairs) and a microphone bracket missing. Frankly, I'm concerned about the longevity of this device after numerous attempts to repair it. I received my phone back in damaged condition from them, and they refused to acknowledge my issues of them breaking my phone. My microphone is in a damaged state, and when I called them to ask if they would make it right, they declined and stated that it "passed diagnostic inspection." All you have to do is take a 5-second recording to find out that it is definitely distorted. This problem was not even one of the initial complaints about the phone. It only had issues AFTER receiving the phone from them. I had no problems with this microphone previously. This is noted in the case notes they took about the separate occurences. Whether a customer appears in person or sends their device through the mail, they should be treated with all levels of care. I feel like I was not giving my phone to employees who seem to show that they care about an individuals device. I'm not satisfied with this entire transaction and will prefer sending my devices to be repaired from another location in the future. I didn't even get a tracking number from them until I had to call three days after they sent it out, only to find it undeliverable at the post office because they used the wrong address. When I called them back to speak to someone about the microphone issue, they refused to offer any service and hung up on me after telling me there was nothing they could do. I will never recommend anyone try this experience. By the way, I'm a certified IT technician with 10+ years of work experience and have repaired hundreds of devices, including smartphones. I know bad service when I see it. If you're paying for your service, please heed my warning and spend your...
Read moreI want to start this by saying that if the service was separate, it would receive 5 starts for that part. Everyone that I worked with was top notch! very fast, very nice, and all about the customer. On to the reason it's only 2 stars. I brought my Iphone 11 pro max in for screen replacement. they replaced it quickly (45 minutes), but the screen they put in didn't work. when I went back to pick it up, they informed me of the issue and got to work on another screen. When I went back to pick it up (30 minutes) they found the second screen was doing the same thing. He informed me that they would get another screen on order and they would have it the next day. Finally 4 business days (6 days total) they called me and told me they got the screen. I brought my phone pack again and they replaced the screen (1 hour). As soon as I grabbed the phone I could feel something was wrong. Once I got home I decided to check the screen. It wasn't seeded correctly into the phone. It was sticking up out of the frame of the phone causing a weird edge, The screen glass had a weird scuff pattern on it, it was very jumpy on swipes and scrolls, it would double click when typing, and the color temperature was totally off. The screen seemed almost like a cheap knock off and when I asked he told me he used OEM parts. I compared it to the exact same model Iphone (Owned by a coworker) and it wasn't even close. That bring up another point, an original apple screen, repaired by apple costs 329$ and a screen from Fast Phone was $359.99. I'm not sure why their lower quality screens are more money. I then went back and asked for my old cracked screen to be put back into my phone and for a refund. That bring up another point, an original apple screen, repaired by apple costs 329$ and a screen from Fast Phone was $359.99. I'm not sure why their lower quality screens are more money. There was precisely zero argument and hey gave me my money back along with installing the original cracked screen. like I said, the service was excellent, but the product...
Read moreBig shoutout to Calvin and the crew at uBreakiFix! I came in with a tricky issue on my Xbox Series X, and while it ended up being a bigger challenge than anticipated, they nailed it. The customer service was outstanding—they kept me in the loop throughout the process and fixed my console perfectly. You can tell this team genuinely cares about their customers, and their trustworthiness really shines through. Thanks so much for the awesome work, guys!
EDIT:
I can finally leave this review now that everything is said and done. I originally brought in my Xbox with an HDMI issue. After sending it in, I got it back — but then it had a cooling issue that made it impossible to play games. Not long after, I had another HDMI problem. I dropped it off again, and uBreakiFix/Asurion ended up fully replacing my Xbox.
It was definitely a stressful process, but this is not a negative review — quite the opposite. I understand that tech doesn’t always cooperate, but I want to give a huge shoutout to the uBreakiFix team in Eau Claire. In a time when so many companies don’t stand by their word, this place does. Despite all the issues with my Xbox, they honored the warranty, made it right, and never tried to push blame or make me pay out of pocket for the additional warranty claims.
Amazing customer experience in-store. I’m very happy with my now fully functioning...
