to piggy back on charles runner's comment. since there is no "reply" button, or the "owner" did not leave any contact info.

i also agree with the stop light situation. my commute is from the west end of technology drive and mitchell road. i drive two miles home. i have to stop every day at the light on Mitchell/lone oak. then when that turns green, the first light at mitchell/212 turns red. JUST as that light turns green, the second mitchell/212 light turns red. about 75% of the time i think you can make it though the mitchell/martain dr. light. but then the beast hits you. the mitchell/valley view road. 90% of the time that light will be red, the other 5% of that remaining time, it will be green up until about 3 seconds before you get to the light, the last 5% is glorious! my two mile commute is only 2-5 min shorter than the commute i had from plymouth which was 12 miles.

another terrible stop light is the one at valley view/top view and plaza. some days there is enough time for a couple cars to get off of top view, only for there to be a useless green arrow for plaza that lasts around 10-15 minutes. and cars in three directions are all just sitting there, while nobody is even on plaza drive. plaza dr. does not need it's own dedicated arrow. there is not enough people who use that road. if anyone needs a green arrow and a turn lane, it is top view.

but in general, prairie center drive and flying cloud. your lucky to get through one...

Overall, Eden Prairie is a great city. My biggest complaint are their traffic lights. So often you find yourself waiting, and waiting, and waiting to turn left...with no oncoming traffic to be found...and then when oncoming traffic appears, they get to stop and you finally get the green left turn arrow. (It's almost as if the light scheduling is completely inversed from how it should be) Many issues would be solved by using flashing yellow left turn arrows (cheap!) and/or vehicle...

Very helpful and knowledgeable people. Very clean and tidy. The history of Eden Prairie is sprinkled throughout the building...
