Having a spouse that works with individuals & families during the worst times of their lives and having come from meager means myself as child, I know the impact an organization like the one The Prop Shop supports can make in someone’s life. I drive past 2 “big name” thrift stores with lower prices because I appreciate the work that PROP does in my local community. I don’t mind paying slightly higher prices than “big name” thrift stores that only use about 1/3 of their income to provide services, because I know the money spent is being poured right back into the community. I see it as the thrift version of “shop local”. I also really appreciate that -either through donor effort, volunteer effort, or both- I never have to worry about clothing I purchase from The Prop Shop having tears, holes, stains, or missing buttons, which I’ve found when reviewing items to purchase elsewhere - sometimes even in a regular retail shop. The brands are great, I can always find something that fits the vision I’m trying to bring to fruition. With prices that beat the best retail clearance price for the brands I like, and great condition everything is in, I always find some great find that makes my bargain-hunter heart sing. Thanks for serving our community & for all the great finds, Prop Shop...

I have walked in wearing clothing purchased from their store (high quality donations from a more affluent area of town) and still been treated this way, followed/watched despite the 7 cameras recording the inside of the store. It's unfortunate that a thrift store with such noble values in favor of human flourishing can be so closed-minded and biased when it comes to treating their customers the way they'd like...

Their prices of some things (i.e. puzzles) are higher than Goodwill or Value Village, but most of their items are priced comparable. It is much smaller than Goodwill which I appreciate being able to see everything more quickly. I recommend you stopping to shop twice - If you don't find anything either time, this place isn't for you. At least 75% of the time, I find a perfect treasure for myself or my children. I am grateful my donations (drop off goods + purchasing things) go to help the community. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by for 10 minutes if you are...
