Crumb Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in Eden Prairie

I've now been to Crumb Gourmet Deli twice over the past 3 months and both times I've been thoroughly impressed. Thia place has counter service with self seating and is similar to the way that you order and get your food at Subway - but the food is MUCH better. Their sandwiches are unique and have great flavor with all fresh ingredients. The portions of sides and the size of the sandwiches are appropriate leaving me feeling completely satisfied. I've tried two different sandwiches, two sides, and I also enjoyed a fresh cookie on my last visit. I can't say that anything could have been better, this deli knows how to produce fantastic food at a reasonable price. The place was very clean, the dining room was well kept and the staff was pleasant. I don't often give 5-star reviews but this is well deserved. What an unexpected delight my meal at Crumb was. I was going to order the balsamic chicken sandwich, but Jose suggested I try a half sandwich with a salad. So I had half of the balsamic chicken sandwich which was fantastic. Jose sliced a perfectly seasoned chicken breast to dress my sandwich. Super fresh! The house salad is anything but an ordinary house salad. It was elevated. With candied pecans, diced pear, blue cheese and balsamic dressing, it was the perfect combination. Really great food, love the Fillmore. Great variety of sandwiches and choices. Get a side included which can be mac and cheese or pasta salad or fruit and I think something else. Sides are kinda meh, not a fan of sun dried tomatoes and a little vinegar would kicked the pasta salad flavor up a couple notches. Mac n cheese is almost flavorless and would benefit from another layer like gruyere cheese or something. Salads are sizeable and really quite good.

My one thing is something I brought to management - have a loyalty program. I'll keep coming back, but man it is always nice when u hit your 7th or 10th sandwich or whatever and get the free one.
