Mi Pueblo Eden Prairie — Restaurant in Eden Prairie

First and last time I shall be getting food, eat in or takeout, from this establishment.

I called my order in and asked them if the nachos, were big portions, as I was getting it for my ravenous teen son. They advised it was and as you can clearly see in my photo it looks like an appetizer for one. I felt so bad for my son. I did call about the sizing and the young man said no mgr. was available and the nachos were not meant to be a meal, they were pretty simple. They have an entire section dedicated just to Nachos, they aren't listed as an appetizer. So, that was a disappointing response.

The "Monster" burrito looks like a pretty standard fast food burrito, was cold- not even luke warm, and the steak inside was pretty bland. I also asked for no lettuce, Xtra rice on all the burritos we ordered. Mine had some lettuce and none of them looked like they had xtra rice. Makes me think these meals are premade then quickly heated for takeout. This makes it hard for variations, probably opened up the burrito took out as much lettuce as possible and missed some in mine. SMH.

Only reason this place got two stars was due to the staff, upon pickup, being incredibly nice. Ah well, $75 spent on a mostly disappointing meal for my family. I say ,"mostly" due to my my youngest son not being hungry and didn't try his quesadilla yet. It may end up...

Food is good BUT they get your orders wrong nonstop. Went in for take out, even tipped the waiter and was given the wrong food and didn’t know until I got all they way home, called and they said to bring the food back they have my right order. Looked at the order before leaving this time got home again AND the order was wrong again I ordered CHICKEN burrito and was given STEAK and I don’t eat Red meat!! So my order went in the trash and so did my money! FYI this has happened many times using door dash so thought if I went in and ordered it wouldn’t 🤦🏽‍♀️.

I ordered the Monster Burrito which is $13.00 and it is supposed to be a Burrito filled with grilled chicken or steak, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce. Topped with cheese dip and red sauce. BUT if you look at my picture below I was given a “burrito” filled with nothing but huge beef chunks and maybe a tablespoon of rice 🤷🏽‍♀️

So again the FOOD is very good, but just know you will probably end up eating someone else’s order 😑

So I am only giving them 2 stars as the food is pretty good, better than the rest of the Mexican restaurants around here at least…..

Oh and PS, they only thing they did to fix the situation was give me an extra bag of chips n a container...

So, I don't know what it is about some places, but when you order nachos for delivery, and you order them with the tortillas on the side? It's because when you finally get your food in an hour, you don't want the chips to have the texture of soggy old used towels

I don't know why when I order tortillas on the side in nachos from this place, they passive aggressively separate all the meats and veggies and chips... Then drown the chips in cheese sauce.

Like listen, I couldn't care less if there are tomatoes in the beef. I did ask for chips on the side only.

If you ask for dressing on the side of a salad, and they separated the chicken into one container, the onions and tomatoes on the other, but then you got a container full of lettuce covered in dressing, you'd be a little confused, right?

It's pretty easy, and it's a consistent problem.

If you're ordering delivery, and you're looking for non soggy food, just order from somewhere else.

Otherwise, the place is more than fine. It tastes fine. You're not getting a lot for the money but these days, that's almost expected.

I'm just done with this place I think.
