Itâs not even that theyâre just rude in there, itâs that theyâre rude in really mean ways. The one gal is downright nasty, which is wild because itâs just a TCG shop. Iâm not a loud, obnoxious or annoying person. I never stay long, I donât have a million questions, I say âpleaseâ and âthank you,â and hello/goodbye. Thereâs zero reason to give such attitude, but Iâm told by others thatâs just how it is in there. Which I guess makes me feel better, since itâs not just me.
Egos are through the roof, you feel like they donât even want you in there, and every purchase always feels like youâre being granted something. They literally treat paying customers like loiterers or shoplifters, or like you owe them for even being able to shop there.
My first visit, I was threatened to be permanently banned, because I didnât know you couldnât buy two of the same thing. They couldâve just told me their policy, or put a sign out. There was no need to snatch an item out of my hands, and then reprimand/threaten me. Clearly, I shouldnât have kept going back. But my last time in there, well, that will be my last time ever. Iâm done with that shop. Iâd rather pay more elsewhere than put up with the staffâs demeanor.
The rest of Mitsuwa is A++. Amazing marketplace. The âOne Pieceâ shop however, thatâs an F-. Which is such a...
Read moreThe reviews are true, there are stocks of booster box only kept for their âspecial customers and familiesâ. I initially visited on the morning of 6/22/24 at around 12pm. I asked if there was anything in stock and was told sorry no stock and to follow their social media for restocks. Although disappointed, i understood that it was all sold out. I stayed around mitsuwa to do some other shopping and towards the end of my trip, I passed by the store again (1:50pm). I witness a transaction happening between some guy and a elderly woman. After whatever talk they had he, hands the booster box to her(elderly lady) and she puts the box inside a green shopping bag. I also go up to the counter and ask âhow can i buy a box?â. The employees act like they don't understand what Im saying to them. I pointed out to them I just saw a transaction for a booster box and began to point at the customers walking out. They still play it off as they know nothing. I then go behind glass of the cash register and point out the 4 booster boxes under their register shelves. They act like they don't know anything and begin crowding the register to cover up the boxes from behind glass and start moving them around. Pretty much a waste of time for anyone who doesn't have these connections...
Read morei had no idea they were holding stock for people they know, i am disappointed but not surprised. im more annoyed how an official store goes out of stock on cards so frequently yet small businesses around the area tend to have a better stock up? anyways, i mostly like the gachapon machines here, they have a board telling you whats coming soon (would love if they had an ETA given with them so i would know when to come back) and they have lots of cute gacha. pricey, but were in usa so of course it wont be as cheap as japan :') one time a coin didn't dispense for me and the employee quickly assisted me and was nice about it. overall, i like this store, hopefully they can fix their stock issue and not hold onto boxes for people they know instead of giving them...
