This eatery is inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. Here, they seem to have all of their offerings made into wax food. It is really nice to be able to what the food you are ordering are going to (or supposed to) look like. It is kind of Japanese-style Chinese food in my opinion, and it CASH ONLY. I chose Hamburg & Gyoza with Rice. There was an option to substitute white rice to Fried Rice or Rice Porridge for additional $2. The waxed version of fried rice looked so good, that I decided to swap my white rice with fried rice. Hamburg steak and gyoza was not bad, they were actually pleasantly tasty. The fried rice…well, it was just ok. It didn’t have much flavor at all… I don’t think it was worth the extra $2. My husband went with Crab Omelet & Gravy over Pork Rice. It looked similar to Omurice, a typical Japanese comfort food, but kind of Chinese version of that. The egg omelet was good, bot great. The crab meat seemed like a real crab meat, and not imitation kind, which was nice. The gravy gave a nice creamy texture, with a but of sweetness to it. I didn’t see much of “pork” in the “pork rice” though. Overall, it was ok, it didn’t blew my mind in any way. The price point was nice, very affordable. Maybe we will try something else again, but it didn’t make the top of our list.

Been coming to this restaurant for 7 or so years from New York or on my way entering New York from visiting New Jersey. Always been stellar but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. The food is decent. Especially if your into the Japanese style hamburg served over fried rice. The fried rice doesn't have much flavor but acceptable for the price. The models of the food displaying on the wall of the restaurant aren't 100 percent honest. Those are a model of steak...what you get is a "hamburger patty". So it's a bit smaller. Aside from the food, the service has always been acceptable until today. The Asian young man with glasses at the register was rude. Spoke extremely quietly and when asked to repeat themselves, he glared. Made his job easier when I told him I wanted it "for here" and he wasn't paying attention and sounded like he hated the world and asked me if I wanted it for here or to go. When the food finally came and there was multiple orders at the register, he did not direct the customers and he sounded annoyed expecting the customers to know which order was which when some looked similar. Please discipline your employees, because this is how you lose valued your customers.

Been going to Mitsuwa for years and have never tried this place. Glad I gave it a chance today. The crab omelette with ground pork and gravy really hit the spot. It sounds like a strange combination but everything works well together. The whole dish is very filling. The side salad with a bit of seaweed, onions, and dressing is nice and refreshing. The soup is a nice hit of salt after everything, brining the meal together. Don't be afraid to go to one of these other restaurants: you don't need to just have ramen every time!

One girl at the cashier treated her job like a joke and is insufferably rude. I told her the name of dish I wanted, she asked me what number it is while she knew full well what the number was. She watched me took a step back, and knocked onto the ppl who were queueing behind me, and struggled to find the meal number with a grin on her face. I asked her why didn’t she know what number each dish was, it is part of her job after all. She replied, “I do, I just want people to get used to using the numbers.” I didn’t know there was lesson to be learned when ordering food. I guess the lesson should be, I’d never order...
