This is from my personal experience as to why I belive giving two stars is reasonable reflection.
I originally only heard about this place from word from mouth and have heard mix reviews but I take it lightly. The first time I was able to go was last month. Everything was fine. The workers were chill the owner was cool and step in to help. Maybe a little to strong but hey he is the boss. I was able to buy my stuff and left feeling good.
Second experiences was also within the same time frame. This is where the mix feelings comes from. The wifi was down they were only accepted cash or cash app. Not a big thing weather was bad so it wasn't a problem. The problem was the workers seem to be treating people with slight attitude (granted system is down but that's not on us). They treated me stupid when I ask some questions again my second time I dont know everything and need help looking around. Big collection just trying to make sure before I assume yall dont have the game. But it was as if I cause the problem for everything. Than the owner came and the two workers didn't even change the attitude. It seem like everyone was mad at eachother the customers and it felt so off. I did just bought a game that I wanted but I wanted to be out ASAP. Im going to wait for while before going back because I just dont want to do business there. Hopefully it was just a bad day because from my first experience very helpful so chill but damn that second one just left a bad taste. Again fully all my experience without any other input....
Read moreI don't ever write reviews for stores but honestly I love this place so much I just have to. The employees are super friendly, the environment is super chill and they're all super helpful and get straight to the point. I visited this place for the first time about two days ago to buy a ps3 and it was genuinely the best condition I've ever seen a refurbished console in, I've bought from places online all the time and it was always unreliable and they came broken, but being able to come in store and talk to the employees and walk out with a console I know will work is the best feeling in the world and I am so glad I was able to find this place nearby. I do expect to be coming back and buying more, I bought a DSi in store today and it is also in amazing condition and has nothing wrong with it. The games I've purchased all work completely fine and honestly I'd take this place anytime of the day instead of gamestop (my old stop for pre owned games lol) because this place actually feels like they treat their consoles and games with care. anyways this was a lengthy review lol but I love this place so much, everyone is super chill and friendly and I have loved every moment that I've...
Read moreThis place is not run like a business at all. For one, they lack a website, like a normal business would have. They post their products on social media but don’t advertise the cost of the product. You go in person and the video games on the shelves are dirty. Then the “good” games such as the SNES and N64 are behind cased glass where you can’t go thru them and see what’s available. Very disappointing. Goliath could be so much better than they are if they wanted to put more effort.
Edit: I seriously appreciate the response I got. I understand that you’re a brick and mortar store, hence no website. Also respect that more effort has to be made and really, that’s my grief bc there is a contingent out there that really wanna buy these “vintage” consoles and games, but not advertising the prices (I mean really, no one is gonna undercut you, we know these things cost money) and keeping the good games behind a cased glass really makes it harder for the customer to buy from you when the competition has their inventory readily accessible for everyone. I’ll update the...
