Ate here a few wks back, the food and service was phenomenal! TODAY, we opted to go try the breakfast and it was delicious as well! My ONLY COMPLAINT was the waiter & the stinginess of the flour tortillas! It was 3 of us, and all plates came with tortillas. When they brought the tortillas out there was only 4 in there & they flew fast! Me being the tortilla lover I am, I decided to ask the waiter for more tortillas (my thoughts were to charge me I don't care I just want more flour tortillas because 4 was not enough for all 3 of us)... and waiter tells me "ma'am it's only 2 per person" which I had assumed, but they had only brought out 4 so 2 tortillas were missing! Me thinking to myself Just bring me the extra tortillas that we're asking for 😡 ... He brought out more, but he was moody and not friendly, we paid the bill & when he brought back the change my husband told him "Thank You" and he didn't even say you're welcome just laid the change flat on the table and walked away! I have only been here twice this the 4 star rating. First time was takeout. I ordered the Caldo de res. Portion was large, good amount of meat and veggies, meat was tender. All around good meal I would order it again. Second visit I ordered the carnie quisada. A large amount of beef tips in a gravy, refried beans were good, the rice was tender with peas in it, small portions of salad which you really did not need any more. This meal was quite tasty as well and would order it again. Atmosphere is good it is not loud in here and it is clean. Staff is very friendly. My waiter Fernando was really polite, friendly. Always coming my table with a smile. I thought his service was very good. Not always coming to check but allowing you time to eat. Thumbs up to him. The owner/manager not sure which is which stop by to ask me how I liked the Caldo the other night. She as well is very polite and friendly. I know a bit long winded but this restaurant deserves it. I had the pleasure of visiting El Jardín Restaurant for the very first time, and let me just say—it won’t be my last. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service.

A server with long hair (wish I had caught his name!) treated me with such kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality. He made me feel right at home, checking in just the right amount, making thoughtful recommendations, and always with a big, sincere smile. You can tell when someone truly enjoys what they do—and he absolutely does. His vibe was everything: positive, attentive, and full of personality.

The food was delicious, I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken 10/10, everything was perfect for a chill Father’s Day, but honestly? It was the service that made the whole experience unforgettable.
