I had an extremely disappointing experience at Halal Mart in Edison. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by a very unpleasant odor, resembling something decayed or simply a result of poor hygiene within the store. The prices were significantly higher than other local halal markets, which was frustrating enough. However, the most serious issue was their deceptive business practices. I was told I was purchasing baby lamb, but what I received was actually goat, which is considerably cheaper and quite different in taste and quality.
