On Jun 10, I ordered (~ half amount deposit) custom premium leather sectional sofa (model a973) as my color was not readily available. Received delivery Aug 26 and got defective piece, backrest and head rest too soft, supple, plushy and can feel the metal frame if you press with your finger. If you lean back the metal frame can hurt your back. Complained on phone, email, personal visit. Dealt with Isaac, manager. Very poor response. After 3 weeks, they sent expert service person Oleg who does not answer your calls and apparently called me without leaving voicemail. He stepped in for few seconds, said sofa looks fine. Filed dispute with my Credit Card company and awaiting the outcome.
Append post owner post (12/6/2017): Please look at pictures, sit on sofa at your Edison, NJ store and you will know what is defective in your sofa. Nothing can justify your non responsiveness and unwillingness to address my complaint for months that drove me to file dispute. I asked you to fix it as first option. As I walked throughout the store, never once did an employee approach me and ask me if I needed assistance with anything. What I did notice was a Russian lady demanding the supervisor to give her more of a discount (he already has given her $1,400 off her purchase), and the employees paying much attention to her. The lady also stated to the supervisor, “I thought this was a Russian owned store! Tell them I’m Russian! You need to do better!” At this time, I figured no one cared for my business and told the employees, “I guess no one wants to help me. You’re all worried about giving this women a discount instead of seeing if I would like to purchase an item. I’ll take my business elsewhere.” The same man who did a mere, “Hello” earlier replied, “I guess I can help you if you want.” Word to the wise - go where your business is welcomed because it is not...

Purchasing a J&M Furniture Porto Premium Bedroom Set on 11/29/19 for $5,000+ from one of their online distributors, 1StopBedrooms, was one of the worst purchase decisions I've ever made. The bedroom set was not delivered until 1/15/20 and the chest was delivered damaged, the headboard light was malfunctioning and the bed slats didn't fit properly. It's now 7/7/20 and J&M Furniture or 1StopBedrooms have not even replaced the damaged Chest, never mind addressing the lights or slats. It's been 7 months of wasted time on phone calls and emails. I reached out to J&M Furniture by phone and was simply told that they do not speak with customers directly.
