The Gateway Shopping Center — Local services in Edwardsville

This shopping center has come a long way since the 80s! Joe Amato, a drag racing legend, purchase the property, did extensive rehabilitation then started renting out the space. At least 95% of it is filled, versus the 5% being filled back in the 80s. People that have moved out of town would be pleasantly surprised to see the variety of businesses in the gateway shopping center, one of the larger would be planet fitness which is an amazing place to begin with! There is something for everyone there including grotto Pizza, subway, smaller locally owned shops & businesses but most importantly the parking is so much better! It's great to see a local entrepreneur bye, rehab then rent out 95% of the structures, but most importantly fix the parking! Small shopping Saturday would definitely help a lot of small businesses in and around the gateway shopping center. Check it out for yourself, and just remember the money you spend in this area stays in this area! I'm glad to see it was rehabbed instead...

Absolutely love the Gateway Shopping Center in Edwardsville PA. I've been visiting it all the time the three years I've been in town. Planet Fitness membership and Chinese Food quite often. Not always in that order. And I quit smoking deadly cigarettes 3 years ago visiting Fog Vapes. Since they were there for over 7years, so many were shocked and left empty and hurt when they closed. This is a conveniently located shopping center that is occupied by a number of business of varying types. The location has a number of entrances and exits, but the most used are on Northampton Street, just east of Wyoming Avenue, and on Wyoming Avenue near the south end of the property.
