I do not recommend this place. What a joke! Staff are rude and deceitful! In short, steer clear of here. Save your time and aggravation by just going across the street. Details below are not important, but just of what my experience was, if you care to read on. Take it or leave it.
To start.
I booked the appointment, and they send a survey, which I think is a great idea. Not all places that I visited do this. I filled it out and e-mailed it back. 5 days later they texted me to fill out the survey. I already did so I sent it again. When I got to the place on Feb. 11, I had to fill out another form with my name and whatnot because they lost my information. They apologized, but my first impression was they are unorganized as my information got lost multiple times. Not a big deal.
I had Hannah Doty as my bridal consultant.
Anyways, to start, we let her know that there was an Allure dress I was hoping to try on. They not have that dress. Thus, she proceeded to pull dresses that were similar to it. It was my first day of trying on dresses. In my survey, I said what things about dresses I liked and didn’t like. I further mentioned that “I have not tried on any dresses and am OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS." I proceeded to say my height and weight and my shape since they may know what dresses best compliment my body type.
After she pulled the dresses she thought I would like, she said she did not have any more dresses close to that Allure dress. She then just QUIT and left us! She acted like she did not want to be there (granted, it was Super Bowl Sunday). I was hoping to try on a few different styles since I was new to the dress experience. Again, I was open to suggestions. I did not know what dress would be most complimentary for me. I thought it was her JOB to help me. But no, she literally just left and went downstairs. I then had to pay her $50 after trying on dresses for the appointment, which I was aware of. However, Hannah said it could be used for the dress if I get one there, or towards jewelry or a veil.
So today, 2 months later, I’m back home in southern IL for the week. Since I had time today, I drove the 90 miles there to use up my credit there. To be honest, I was so p!$$ed with the first experience, I didn't want to give them my $50 for NOTHIN. I did call twice in the morning after they opened to make sure I could come in without an appt., but no answer both times, so I went anyways. I get there and they ask if they can help me. I said I wanted to look at the jewelry. After I picked out a few pieces, I went to pay and I said I should have a $50 credit. The lady working the table today told me that the credit can ONLY BE USED THE DAY OF THE DRESS APPOINTMENT. I said that not what I was told. They just blankly stared at me. Hannah Doty lied to me! I paid her at the END of my appointment. The END. She knew I was getting ready to walk out of the door. You would think AT THAT TIME, she would inform me “oh, you better use your credit now before you walk out the door or it’s no good.” No! She let me believe I could use it in the future. What thieves!
I would love to hear the audio of that conversation from the February appointment. Very deceitful! Why does one have to pay $50 for the appt. anyways...especially when it got cut short? NOT ONE OTHER PLACE I WENT TO DOES THIS. They must make bank on that fee alone. Then to be deceitful on top of that. This place wasted my time twice. A lot of time.
Obviously, not a lot of bad reviews on google for this place. Just don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of.
BTW, I thought I liked the fit-and-flare or sheath styles before I tried on dresses. I ended up going with an A-line. It would have been nice if my consultant here would have done her job and shown me more...
Read moreI had a great shopping experience a wonderful consultant, I believe her name was Taylor. I found a dress and ordered that day(in December). I reach out regarding the status of my dress on May 1st since I hadn’t heard anything. They send a screenshot back of them messaging me on Facebook saying my dress was delivered & they said “looks like you opened our message”. For starters, using Facebook messenger regarding someone’s wedding dress seems like a very inappropriate method of communication, especially since they have my phone number- they texted me about their suit program. Informing a bride about their dress should be absolutely nothing other than a phone call to ensure the correct person gets notified. Unfortunately the account they messaged had been hacked a few months prior and I have no access to it. Of course they didn’t know that, although if they looked at the account it’s very clearly spammers. When I informed them the account was hacked so I had no idea my dress arrived a month prior, they said “sorry to hear that”. Completely ignoring the fact my dress sat at their shop for a month before I reached out to them. How long would I have been “waiting” for my dress? I’m still not sure why they never called or even texted me at some point during that month. When I picked my dress up I just wanted to get it and be done. My dress came in perfect so I didn’t want to make a stink. But I do want to warn other brides- look at your Facebook! Or specifically request they call you. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend but I do think they need to have a better communication approach...

Honestly very disappointed with my appointment that happened today .
To start off, i specifically came to this shop which is 2.5 HOURS AWAY because of their selection of floral gowns. I sent pictures from THEIR instagram page when I booked my appointment asking which floral themed gowns were at their store and that i really wanted to try this specific dress, I was told it was being sent to another store as a loaner but that they could bring it back by the time I would have my appointment, which was 4 WEEKS LATER. I show up today, and the dress is not there. Okay, fine. I was told by my consultant she was going to get ahold of her manager and see if someone could bring it over. We asked multiple times about the dress - but was not told until the very end of my appointment that it was not coming. I did find two dresses I really liked and was deciding over, but at the end of the day the whole reason of why I took this trip and brought my family out was for the dresses I sent to them 4 weeks prior that I truly had my heart set on. I am very disappointed in the fact they weren’t there, I just feel like if they are going to advertise dresses on social media they should HAVE THE DRESSES THEY ARE ADVERTISING. and yes, i know there are multiple locations, but these dresses were posted on their effingham location pages.
EDIT The manager reached out and made everything right , i came back and purchased the dress i came for ! so grateful we were able to work things out and get the dress of...
