Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in El Paso

Showed up at what pizza establishments would call rush hour. Not at sad little cici's though; it was as dead as a Joe Biden rally. When I saw that they had introduced wings into the menu I was estatic to try this never before experienced menu item. I devowered my pizza an enjoyed it as usual. As I took my very last bite about 40 minutes after starting I realized I had never received my wings. I proceeded to walk to the front counter and requested I receive a refund for the wings only. I was received with ugly looks by a handful of teenage employees who took my request as some sort of personal insult. Nonetheless I got my money back. Coming from the pizza industry myself I would like to see Cici's consider putting adults in charge to run their establishment. Every single employee was under the age of 19. It made me feel like I was at a homecoming game in highschool again. They practically had a sign outside that said " No Adults allowed to work here". Cici's I know your struggling but please consider having someone above the age of 21 running your soon to be extinct establishment. Never have I been more embarrassed in my life, my child received a card at school for a free child’s buffet with the purchase of an adults. So after the student conference we decided to go to Cici’s to use it, however, the assistant manager said we could not because it was expired, I thought he was joking so I asked seriously? To which he replied what school did you get it from I told him Vista Del Sol elementary and he told me oh really we just took them new coupons, I could get in trouble for excepting it. And I understand that but we just got the coupon and if they’re still giving them out at the school should the expiration date be the reason you turn customers away? As we were walking out he said we’ll I could honor it this one time I was in shock like really we just had this whole dialogue about how you couldn’t accept it but now you can? We left it was so embarrassing and I live in this neighborhood, however now we will never be dining here ever again. Cici’s Pizza please retrain your assistant manager Jordan as he lacks customer services skills needed to manage and lead your store. We took our family here. We had 3 diabetics with us, including myself. We had been to this location many times with no issues. But this time we find out that in order to get an Atkins bake ( basically pizza sauce and toppings baked in a dish with out a crust) that we had to pay $2 extra for each one. Always before it was free just like a personal pizza. In addition they now charge an additional $2 for each pasta bake as well. The managers response was to just tell us to eat the toppings off a slice of pizza and throw away the bread! Wow! Rude and not to mention how wasteful this policy is given the very skimpy amount of toppings they put on a pizza! Very doubtful that we will ever patronize them again. Their attitude and failure to give alternatives for diabetics (of which there are many in El Paso) just left us with an extremely poor experience. Save your money and order...
