Anson Mills — Attraction in El Paso

Horrible experience!! I made a reservation for my birthday for 16 people on a Sunday for brunch. I get there on time they had a table for me for only 12 people and they wanted the rest of my guests to sit wherever it was a table available (so what's the point of making a reservation if we cant sit all together) I finally convinced them to sit us all together and we had to wait almost an hour to get the menus water and bread! after almost two hours waiting they bring the food and it was COLD and dry and not just my plate all of our plates were cold. The breakfast Pizza was hard like a rock and we never got our drinks and to finish it up you have to walk through the halls to go to the restroom and they don't have a baby changing station!!! oh and they charged us all wrong it took us 30 minutes or more to pay our bills. they don't even deserve a star ! maybe the service for dinner for 2 people is different but if you know you have a big party be ready and prepared the manager apologized saying she had just gotten there and that they are not used to have big parties. This is the building where you go to get your passport, with an appointment, of course. The numbers are not on the building on the outside. To get to the office, you have to go inside and get in the elevator to the 7th floor. FYI, I don't think you can get in without an appointment. Security has a list of people. Aside from all that, as long as you have your information, it is quick and easy.

The building itself is in downtown El Paso on the SW corner of the Jacinto Plaza. Beautiful building with lots to see...

The California Chicken sandwich was great. Would definitely get it again. Service is on par. One of my mates ordered his burger well done. It was well burnt. No fault on the restaurant, more so on my mate. At least the chef followed orders. Other than that, a very pleasant for lunch. By the way, the manger did the right thing and took care of the burger for my mate. Stand up manager. Good experience all round. Thank you Lorenzo.
