We went to buy some pork meat for posole espinazo de puerco yesterday afternoon. There was only six bags left in the freezer. One of the guys there probably the owner came to us and asked us if we needed more so he could tell his employee to cut more up. The reason for this is because there package meat was opened. The employee went to the back and came back after the owner left and said there was no more left, that if we like he could take the bad meat out of the package and give us the rest. We took the meat home and proceeded to open the packages to find out that the meat was black. My wife washed it thinking it was just dirty but no the meat continue to be black. We went back to return the meat store and when we got there we got to talk to the owner and she was rude from the beginning. She said if we had the receipt and I replied how I’m I suppose to save a receipt that is strictly meat! She continue to get mad because we wanted a refund and not the meat. We had a really bad experience and the meat is really bad quality. The owner told my wife next time have the receipt, but there will not be next time as it’s the worst place to...

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!, is very common they show you a price in the butchery, and when they see you busy looking for something else they change the price in the electronic scale from 8.99 to 10.99 or 12.99 is not too much but happened to me 7 times already when I am not looking at the small LCD screen in the scale (so I started to believe is not an innocent mistake) I do not like to complain and I never mind about prices but this may piss others.

We are usually regulars in buying top sirloin here. Today we went and I order my usual. It’s a lot of meat we buy but that consists of our diet. The new butcher (that was only there with no customers) gotten an attitude with me and my husband because we ordered to get the meat an inch thick. Keep in mind we always order it this way, nothing new. He mentioned why we don’t just get the thin cut they already have out. We understand customer service goes a long way; I would have done a better job with a smile on my face and just given the customer a better response and what they want without no question , regardless if I’m having a bad day or just tired. FYI No customers mean no job for you. I guess they don’t want my money. I can take my 200 weekly money else where. Thanks for the great customer service.
