This is my first time writing a negative review on a restaurant, but this is just a terrible place to spend your money. I ordered 3 plates, spent $48, still tipped, and waited 50 minutes for an order, plus the 20 minute drive there and 20 minute drive back. I arrived home and my order was not what I paid for, the bread on the torta was very soggy and greasy, and the other torta I ordered was missing a lot of the stuff I ordered. I called and spoke to the staff, Susana is a very rude and disrespectful individual. They wanted me to drive back 20 minutes and wait for the order again, or take a free torta when I spent nearly 50 bucks, I spoke politely but they hung up on me twice. It’s messed up to have to spend 50 dollars, and still deal with disrespect and be expected to drive there again as if people don’t have work and commitments. I thought I’d give this place a try since my mom wanted this for lunch. This place has absolutely zero professional skills and customer service. It’s saddening to have to go out of your way to take disrespect and be talked over. I simply wanted a good breakfast with my family and instead lost money on subpar quality food that was overpriced while receiving horrible disrespect from Susana. How can I go back and drive 20 minutes just to deal with that same situation and be treated poorly when I also have work. I guess I’ll...
Read moreThey have the phone disconnected at all times so you can never place a to go order. When I mentioned this to them they said they disconnect the phone when it’s really busy. It was a Wednesday at 2 pm with plenty of open tables. I have also called at different times and days as an experiment and not once has the phone been available for calls. Once you walk in and place an order to go they just have you stand around they offer you a seat at the back of the restaurant where the servers are prepping the utensils. Even though they had plenty of open tables. I ordered a caldo so all they had to do was serve it it’s already cooked and it took them about 20-25 min to have it out. I understand that it’s by ticket order but when it’s something so simple as soup most restaurants just serve it so you can leave. If you sit down to eat and order the special they bring you the caldo first so you can eat while the food is cooking. I don’t understand why they can’t offer a similar courtesy to to go costumers for something that is already prepared and ready to go. The food is mid and they have horrible costumer service I would not...
Read moreThis is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to write a review for a place, but this was a pretty bad experience. Service was fine at first but our server dropped 3/4 plates and disappeared. The general rule for service is to touch on tables 2 minutes after food is taken and we had not seen her for maybe 10+ minutes still waiting for the last plate. When she showed up she barely noticed the plate missing and went to the back. I get being swamped but at least communicate with the table. Then she brings out the wrong plate finally when the rest of us had already finished eating. I wouldn’t have been so upset had she just told us what the status was but it felt like we were being avoided as a table. We’re still waiting on a to go order, it finally came out and it’s wrong. We got home to see they gave us just one enchilada instead of the plate we ordered. The waitress drops it off, and immediately leaves. Doesn’t even apologize or anything. To top it we had to pay full price. $70 tab for the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. It’s a shame considering how much I liked this place but the service...
