Sitting on the patio with a couple of friends, trying to ignore the loud obnoxious regulars yelling and boasting obscenities while bragging about acting "hard". Shortly after 12:30, a staff member slammed open the door to the patio, and proceeded to YELL and SCREAM at everyone to get off the patio and go inside. The staff didn't provide ANY explanation as to why people were being forced off the patio and into the establishment. I proceeded to order a beer for a friend and myself, specifically a Pabst and a Guinness. After receiving the Pabst, the bartender then proceeded to serve other patrons, making around 15 mixed drinks, before completing my order. This entire process took around 15-20 minutes before my order was completed. I was tempted to take the beer and not pay, as i had my money out and ready, yet no transaction was attempted by the noticeably intoxicated female bartender. Eventually, Last call came, and I still hadn't received my first beer of the night. I had wanted to order more, but because of the obnoxiously long wait time, whether it was due to forgetful staff, or just heavily intoxicated bartender, I had missed last call, and was not interested in waiting another 10-15 minutes for another beer. I saw what looked like could have been the owner, we made eye contact, saw that I had money out, and he immediately PRETENDED (yes, pretended) to turn invisible knobs and scratch at stainless steel paneling. I was absolutely dumbfounded at the lack of professionalism, experience, and overall atmosphere that you would come to expect at even the trashiest of dive-bars. Although I was not surprised at the horrible service, long wait times, and rude interactions between customers and the blatantly drunk staff. I had been here before, and did not expect any more. I joked with my friends about the bar being on the show "bar rescue", I seriously would nominate this bar in specific. Even bars in juarez have better service, less staff-customer confrontations, and serving of alcohol to minors. Which is just too bad, considering this bar is actually located in a very nice...
Read moreI have been going here for at least a year and between Charlie, Crystal and other bartenders it has always been a good experience. The food is good, the atmosphere is good and a good time all around. Tonight they had a new bartender named Christine who was just terrible. I don’t normally write bad reviews but the experience was just too much to not speak up. Ok so it was a bit busy so I understood and picked up every single plate and cup that was served to us because Christine never came around to pick up any of it. So I then have to go to the bar to ask for drinks and on a simple order of six Irish car bombs we get five shots and four beers. Ok so we over look that too. After another 40 minutes I go back to the bar to ask if she can come over so we can order drinks since she is too busy talking to the guys at the bar and again we get four of the five drinks we ordered. It is now 1230 pm and there are about half the people that there were early and we still cannot get any service. I again go to the bar and ask Christine if she can please take a drink order for our table. She brings one drink that one person from our party had ordered earlier and throws it on the table and leaves again without taking any drink orders. I finally say this is enough of this horrible service and I go talk to the cook and ask if there is a manager on site. Christine heard me complaining to the cooks and just jumps in and says well if you don’t like it close your tab and leave. Being at a business where you go spend your money at least once a week just to go have a bad employee tell you well if you don’t like it leave is not ok. If you are terrible at your job then either be apologetic and train to get better or try a different profession instead if just telling long time...
Read moreFirst, the good things: My husband said the hamburger he had was very good. The service is wonderful. The bone in wings we had were just OK. Now the bad things: we ordered a diet Coke, a Coke and a Dr Pepper. We got them and tried to drink them, but they were so horrible we could not drink them at all. We asked the waitress about that, and she said that yes, it wasn’t actually Coke. It was some off brand. It seems like they have an obligation to tell you that it’s not actually Coke or Pepsi that you’re going to be ordering. Has she done that we would have ordered something that wasn’t soda. Online when we looked at the menu, they had a couple of sandwiches like Philly cheesesteaks, but when we got there, they didn’t have that at all. Overall, the meal was just OK. Nothing to...
