Slim & Shorty's Jewelry & Rpr — Local services in Elgin

My mom recently passed away and I inherited some of her jewelry. I needed some of the jewelry sized, some of it repaired, and some checked for authenticity. We are new to this area and we were unsure of local jewelry stores. I did a google search and found Slim & Shorty’s Jewelry & Repair in Elgin. I went in yesterday and I have never been so thankful that I found them. It is a small locally owned store with the best customer service I have ever experienced. I immediately felt a peace. The owner was so caring and understanding (because I was so emotional). She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She carefully went through each piece and explained what I had. She then explained what each one of them needed. I felt so comfortable trusting her with my mom’s jewelry. I truly can not imagine doing business with another jeweler after going in Slim & Shorty’s.
