When I first walked in I was greeted at the door. I asked for eyebrows and I was told to head to the back. Where a young lady was ready to give me the service. I felt a bit uncomfortable because I felt rushed by the lady covering/ hovering over me while I looked for a reference photo to show what exactly I wanted. I of course asked before presenting the photo. In the middle of me asking before I could finish my sentence Martha cut me off rudely to say I didn’t have much eyebrows to work with. I kindly explained that I have gotten this service before where I was able to get what I was asking for. I told her I just wanted to make sure they could give me what I was asking for and if not I would go somewhere that could. Martha was facing her client whiling doing a pedicure and interfered to tell me this. She then told me “okay go”, and I didn’t take any offense to this I just I felt as though there was a miscommunication with what I was asking for. But I also feel as though the comment was unnecessary. It’s the way you say things that matter. You can still tell a customer you cannot provide something kindly. I asked very politely and only exactly with a reference and detail to show the person in charge of doing the service exactly what I wanted so there was no miscommunication. I wanted to walk away and still be a satisfied customer. It felt like very hostile environment. I would also like to add I am a women of color. Not that it matters for this specific situation. But to just clarify. I am very sure their service is amazing but I just wanted to share...
Read moreI'm only giving this place 1 star inorder to write this review ! I go in there on a Sunday and ask for a fill in. The guy who sits in the third table closet to the door says ok . I sit down . I got there at 4:30pm. He's working on a clients nails so I wait. Then another client who got a pedicure comes out the chair and gets her nails done next. I say okay and I wait To go after her. .... THEN ANOTHER girl comes out of the pedicure chair and gets her nails done. He DID NOT TELL ME it was going to be a 3 hour WAIT ! I had patience and waited an hour .45mins! It'll be a 3 hour wait once he finishes her. I asked him if he was doing her nails next her looks and says "yea" . I IMMEDIATELY WALKED OUT! He did NOT tell me it was a 3 hour wait! Looks like he favors spanish women over black women anyhow ! Didn't mean to make this into a racial thing ! But he barely spoke to me and was. Read moreThey are horrible. I got a gel manicure and after a week, on one of my fingers the nail polish was completely off! At the same time my nail polish on my toes were chipping too! After one week!! I went to them and ask how could this be gel should last AT LEAST 2 weeks. They had an attitude about it and said well it has been a week. They ended up re-doing my finger nail but refused to re-paint my toes. Upon leaving I asked to speak to a supervisor and their answers were "why do you want to know" , "who's asking". So I left without speaking to anyone because no one would say who the supervisor was and if he was even there! Horrible customer service and CHEAP nail polish! I rather pay my usual extra $5 at my regular shop and get quality service and polish. Would not recommend...
