I don’t normally leave reviews on here but I had to come on here and rave about the girl who helped me today in the store. Her name is Lyndi! She made me want verizon to include an option to tip employees when you get really good service! I went in today to get an upgrade and new phone today. Lyndi was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick out everything…new phone, case, popsocket, and all! She was the sweetest and most helpful worker I’ve ever met! I came back in shortly after leaving because I was having trouble with a couple things on the phone and she went above and beyond to help me! I was switching from Samsung to apple iPhone so it was all new to me and she even helped me get back into my Facebook after I messed up and couldn’t get logged in at all! Not a lot of people would have taken the time to make sure I got everything situated like she did and made sure I was completely good to go! She is an amazing worker and deserves a raise or huge bonus that’s for sure! Also she was amazing with my son while we were there as well! He is 11 and usually won’t even talk to ppl he doesn’t know well but he talked her ear off and she was so sweet with him and joked back with him and everything. I’ve been to some places with similar setting and situation and most would get annoyed when my son would start talking or interrupt a conversation, but Lyndi was awesome with him and he talked about how nice she was all the way home! And he even said “mom that girl deserves a raise because she helped you with everything!” So take it from me and my 11 year old, the Verizon employee Lyndi is awesome and we love her! Read moreUsed Hamidah Gay as sales person. She was helpful during the sale. We upgraded 3 phones and added a line with a new phone. ($3490.00 worth of phones). We returned today because we noticed that in addition to the activation fee, there was also a $40 device service set up fee for each phone. I explained that I understood this charge for three phones that required transfer of data but not for the brand new phone that simply needed to be turned on. I wish I would have reviewed what she was charging more carefully before I walked out. She never offered to let me see any of the charges or papers other than the total when I signed the credit card receipt. She just stuffed all the papers in the bag as we left. They do this for a reason. You won’t see all the up charges until you are out of the building. You can save yourself $40 per phone if you just go through Verizon online. This is not a Verizon store. It is Cellular Sales and they strive to upcharge and add on as much as they possibly can. I will never do business with them again and highly recommend viewing all paperwork and asking about extra charges if you do business here (which I do not recommend.) Not a good honest business at all.
Update: I just received a call from Joe Salsbury (manager) and he was very professional and agreed that the set up fee did not apply in this case and would use the info provided to teach the sales people about the set up fee. He was very gracious and stated that he will be refunding the set up fee for that phone as well as an additional one for the time and trouble. Very friendly well...
Read moreThis evening I received an email thanking me for a purchase from this store. As I live in Maryland and not in Tennessee, it worries me. I called the store, and asked for Rachel Reed. She was listed as the sales person. The gentleman I spoke to said she was not In And asked if he could help me. I explained that I thought someone had used my account and he immediately took my number and said he would get ahold of Rachel and have her call me. 7 minutes later I received a call from her. I explained what had happened and she and I came to the conclusion that the email was in error and that a couple had come in and bought the items with cash. I could not get into my account to see this for my self. What completely floored me was that Rachel was off work and had just arrived home, and went the extra mile on her own time to take care of this! This is so out of the ordinary these days, most people would have said I’m off, I’ll deal with it later. But not her! Not only did she help me with this, but she helped me with an issue I was having with the app and explained In very easy to understand terms how to fix it and exactly what to do. To the managers/owners of this store, she is a keeper, it is rare today to find this level of dedication and loyalty to a company. Thank you for training your people to do the right things, and to go the extra mile!!! If I live in TN you would be the only place I would buy my phones and accessories!!
