Cook Out — Restaurant in Elizabethton

Seriously don't waste your time. I've now visited this cook out 7 times exactly. Each time my order has been wrong and usually it's been minor and I've not said anything. I'd have to swap my main tray pieces from others of my orders because items are just thrown in boxes. Focused on speed with no accuracy. Today (6/2/22) around Noon hours visited again because I really just wanted a cheesecake milkshake. When ordering told all out of cheesecake flavoring and moved on to order my meal. I only asked for a regular (no slaw) BBQ tray with 2x onion rings as my sides. This was messed up and making me go through the drive thru not 1x, not 2x, 3x with Mt partner driving back through the last time because I was so livid. The food I'd recieve was in no way what I ordered which made no sense with no one else currently yet not here. Others did after pull in and were warned not to waste their time because my partner had to still correct the same exact gentleman who continued chatting and back yo the window throwing out food with no care which is also a huge waste and people in this world are fighting to even eat! Thankfully this otjer couple didn't waste their time changing this after seeing the disaster of me fighting for a simple BBQ sandwich. If I didn't have bad teeth I probably would have tried the other things thrown, or had not directly still added slaw, the list goes on and all in one trip.

Seriously if I could I'd give 0 stars, Cookout has always been a favorite, this is the closest to me, and seems I won't be having cook out unless out of town ever again! Waste of fuel, time, energy, my breath & voice and well as a split bit of my sanity trying to wrap my brain around it all. It isn't just 1 employee, mind you all visits all orders were wrong. 1st time I went here I was happy. The food waa good, order correct and timely. Tonight I decided to pick up from there since it was getting late and I needed to feed my kids. I drove 25 minutes to get it, when I arrived there were 6 or 7 employees hanging out in the lot having a good time and climbing the ladder to the roof. I smiled and carried on. Ordered the food and drove home. i got home after the hour trip to find half my order was missing. Corn dogs, burgers, fries...I didnt really want to spend another hour to fix this..ill make mac and cheese... So I looked for a number to call. Well, there is no number to be found on their website or otherwise. Nearing my kids bedtime, we had no choice but to drive out again. I get to the window and tell them what happened. They ask for my ticket, I hand them the cold food and my ticket that doesn't say the order... They cant pull up the order. They tell me we don't know whats missing...By now I'm upset, my kids are falling asleep and we are all hungry. 20 minutes of waiting they finally bring me the order. It still isn't correct when I got home but close enough when you are starving after 2 1/2 hours. Not only were my kids hungry, upset and trying to stay awake.. but I missed my friend's fight that was being broadcast live and wasted a 1/4 tank of gas in my truck. Really disappointed with the way things are being run. What business doesn't even list a phone number? What restaurant can't look at a food order? If there are 6-7 teenagers playing outside there must be a lot of employees to make sure things go...

What You Want When Dealing With A Business!! 10 Stars Where I'm Concerned!! -Manager Sam And Employee Allie....I Have Someone Sick At Home Who Wanted Something In Particular,Yet I Got To The Business At Closing,and They Had Already Shut Equipment Down...Allie A Very Sweet,Kind,and Undoubtedly A Very Compassionate Young Lady,Made The Change That Sparked My Getting The Things I Came For...and Ultimately The Manager Sam Played The Final Role In Making It Happen!!! These Two Wonderful Individuals Are Unequivocally Without Any Doubt Who I Would Waste Not One Second In Being My Examples For Who Represented My Business Or Any Business For That Matter!!! With All Of This Being Said.....These Three Remarkable Individuals Deserve Incentives Letting Them Know How Very Appreciated They Are!!!
