This theater was built in 1940. It is extremely well preserved in the Art Deco style. It has a very nice angle to the seating. Not as severe as stadium seating in modern theatets but impressive for it's age. The seats are very comfortable and more impressive is there is plenty of leg room. The sound and picture are perfect. The concessions are very old school but acceptable. Sodas are the Traverse City Pop Company, can't remember their name. The only real downside is the bathrooms are up some very narrow stairs.
