I had a great car buying experience and posted that review. However, my opinion has since changed. It seems after they seal the deal, you no longer matter and the response I received to my email to try to resolve the issue Iâm about to explain, was replied to with a short one sentence reply from my salesman, Steven. No apology was given. And I have yet to hear back from management who was supposed to âhandle the issueâ. I was told when I was signing papers, how great this dealership treats their customers and how they go out of their way to make things right. Is that only a perk for residents of West Virginia who buy from this place? Does that same treatment not apply to people who travel from other states?? If I was the manager, this type of thing would be my first priority. I should have heard back that day with a phone call. I live in Virginia, so I had to get the car I bought inspected in my state, even though the car had a fresh inspection in December 2020 from this dealership. I was told that the cabin air filter was replaced and upon inspection here in VA, that was found to be untrue. It was extremely filthy. There were 3 bulbs that were blown and had to be replaced. This dealership put new brakes on the car and twisted the brake hose and I had to pay to get that fixed. So upon state inspection, I incurred charges for things that should have been fixed during inspection in December at this dealership. Also, the car is seeping oil around the timing cover! Why wasnât that discovered and repaired during inspection at this dealership?! I now have more expenses to fix things on this car and the sad thing is, it is my daughterâs first car and she is having to use her savings to fix things that shouldnât have been an issue to start with! I will never buy from this place again. Once they sell you a car, it doesnât matter what happens after that. And their inspections are not thorough, for a matter of fact, I doubt they inspected it at all! If things go wrong with your vehicle, you will receive a one sentence reply, with no apology or offer to make the situation right. Management should have contacted me THAT day or the NEXT day after my complaint was submitted, at the latest! They do not care about their customers after they sell you a car. What a great first car buying impression on my 17 year old daughter! I wish I had gone somewhere else. Iâm so disappointed and discouraged. And it infuriates me that my daughterâs savings is being spent fixing things that should have been corrected before the car was put up for sale. And to think I drove through 3 hours of nothing but mountains for this?! Makes me sick to my stomach. My wife and I had been searching for a Chrysler Pacifica for several months and were unable to locate one with the options we wanted at a price that we felt was fair. We called Elkins CDJR at about 7:30 pm and Jordan answered the phone. He was extremely helpful and informed us that they were actually closed and he would call me in the morning. Sure enough the called me the next morning when they opened and answered all of my questions promptly and professionally. My wife and I had actually planned on driving to Parkersburg Wv from Fairmont Wv to view a similar vehicle but instead drove to Elkins after speaking with Jordan. When we arrived, Jordan was busy with another customer but promptly assisted us. The vehicle we came to view was everything we were looking for so we decided to purchase it. The easiest part of the entire experience was coming to a final out the door price. Unfortunately due to he holidays, we had to wait a few days on the bank but we're able to get everything worked out. We called and let Jordan know we were on our way from Fairmont to take delivery of our new vehicle and the process was extremely easy.
The staff were polite and professional in every way. The facility at Elkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is by far one of the nicest and cleanest car dealerships I have ever been to. The only reason this review is 4/5 stars and not 5/5 stars is due to the detail of the vehicle pre-delivery. The detail job was completed satisfactorily yet I feel hat it could've been a little bit better. Also, Jordan did not walk me or my wife through any of the registration for Chrysler's UConnect or the SiriusXM radio registration. Other than that, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase, the service we received and the facility at Elkins CDJR.

Renee went above and beyond and was kind enough to accommodate me after work, which meant she, as well as the other members of the team, were there late. Not once did anyone make me feel like I was an inconvenience, or rush me through the test drive or any part of the process. Dave helped me with some of the technical things that I'm not particularly good at and even offered help going forward if I need it, and Kaye made signing all of the paperwork such a pleasant experience as she always does. Adam did an absolutely beautiful job detailing my vehicle and brought it up with a smile...way past closing time. I have never had a bad experience and cannot say enough about how well I am always treated at Elkins...
