Kudos Sakura! The best choice is the Tempura Shrimp Bento Box for a sit down meal. The shrimp are delicious and HUGE! They have a beautiful side of Squash, Zucchini, and an Onion Ring in the box too which is perfect and doesn't over power the meal and lots more. Take out I recommend the crazy girl roll (includes Eel and Avacado with a surprising crunch) and the traditional California rolls. If you walk in and wait it's fun to watch the Chefs preparing meals at the window so quickly way behind the glass at the register. If you call and pick up the waiting is about 20 minutes on average or less. Sit down in this restaurant is a great experience; their are lovely paper umbrellas that currently hang as decorations (very minimalist) and the Wait Staff is fabulous, attentive, and fast. They always have chopsticks available if you like them. There is no current kid's menu (which would be a good idea to add) so you have to be creative in ordering when taking children. There are about 10 comfortable booths and a few extra tables and chairs in the center that would suit well for bigger gatherings. I don't know if they did this before the pandemic but if they set the restaurant up for the Chefs to be seen at the meal (at the table) preparing the dishes, I believe that they would have a full house ALL the time. I think people would pay even more to experience that at a meal, I would. The food portions currently are so large for such a low price and the presentation is very pleasing to the eye. Amazing! Very speedy service. The food is amazing. I always order the shrimp and salmon hibachi and there is nothing like it. The salmon melts in your mouth and the seasoning is something I have failed to replicate at home. You also get a lot of food considering the price. I always end up taking food home with me. I am not someone who likes eating leftover food but I make an acceptation to this because it still tastes good even after it's cold. The staff there is very nice and polite. A lot of restaurant waiters tend to act like you're a convenience and it always makes me feel bad. But the staff there is so nice I feel comfortable ordering. If you're autistic and have sensory problems this is the place for you. It's always quiet. I have trouble ordering at some places because of a lot of factors. First let me say I only ever leave a review if the restaurant was amazing or if it was aweful. The food tasted ok (definitely have had better tasting food from different Sakuras, BUT there were flies all around the restaurant (we had to move from our original table because of it), we were literally holding our fork with one hand and swatting away flies from our food and drinks with the other, and my wife couldn’t finish her meal because several flies land on her food. We told the server and she said “Ohhhh…would you like a to go box”, I then asked for the manager and she took my wife’s meal off the ticket.
