I lost my Pet love bird and asked the manager if I could put a lost and found picture outside. She said yes but tore it off soon as I left. Will never be coming back here and writing a letter to Corp as well as posting on my social media page
Update: I stopped shopping here for over a year due to my previous experiences and decided to try again today. I was shocked to find how much worse things have become and how blatently the employees will racially profile customers. Immediately walking in, I could tell I was being watched and had employees hovering over me while talking into there ear pieces. I had two different employees come up to me within 5 3 minutes of other harassing me. Once I got in line to check out, I could see the managers staring at me making it extremely uncomfortable. While waiting in the long line I realized I had forgotten to get socks so I left my cart in line and quickly went to get them when I had an employee shout at the top of his lungs for me to stop where I was and to get back in line while the entire store stared. The week before I came to do Amazon Returns and was stopped at the exit by a manager asking me questions about if I had bought anything and if they could check my cart. This is utterly disgusting and no one should be treated like this. An employee who works there later confirmed that they were profiling me on the walkie talkies the moment I walked in. Im not sure what to do about this and to just not shop there doesnt seem to be the solution because this is not okay.
I have been coming here for 2 years now and shop mostly at Kohls for all my outfits. At first everything was fine but as soon as I became a "regular" as in the employees would recognize me for always shopping there, thats when things became extremely uncomfortable. I have had employees say desrespectful comments, follow me, and flat out say they do not want me there. The last handful of times I have waited at the customer service line, the women working behind the counter would look at me and start grunting, slamming registers, and making alot of noise to let me know they do not want me there. I purchased items for my daughter just before the school year began, but a few days later, I realized that two items that I bought for myself, when combined, seemed pricier than expected. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of waiting until the final day of the return period due to personal reasons. Upon reaching the counter, they couldn't match the barcode of the items I wanted to return, and the refund amount was lower than anticipated. The cashier suggested that these items might be something else, perhaps adult apparel, and they were unable to retrieve an image from their system for verification. However, I am completely certain that I had purchased children's items and two tops for myself. Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation and clarify that I was charged for items I didn't purchase, the manager on duty seemed disinterested in understanding or assisting. I informed the manager of my intention to escalate the issue to customer care, but he remained unresponsive. Unfortunately, my call to customer care was unproductive due to the nature of the in-store purchase. Instead, I was informed that the two items appeared to be Capri pants in size 10. Strangely, I didn't buy them, and I distinctly remember asking for a price check, but I never finalized the purchase. It's possible that they forgot to remove it from my bill after I declined. I called the store again and was directed back to the same manager, he appeared unhelpful again, even claiming to recall our prior conversation, which left me feeling as if he was intentionally ignoring my concerns. To make matters more challenging, they were unable to provide a resolution due to the inability to access old in-store video recordings. While I would have accepted the situation if a refund couldn't be issued, what truly disappointed me was the absence of empathy and an apology for the inconvenience caused. We, Jinyu Ning (wife) and Guangming Zhang (husband) have been loyal customers with the Kohlâs for many years. This store located in Ellicott City, MD 21043 is of the best stores. All the staff members work hard for the customers and provide the customers with excellent service. It is the Holiday Season. We went to this store for our holiday shopping on 10-13-2023. It was our second trip to Kohlâs. Our plan was to prepare three packages of Christmas gifts for our children and grand-children. We were so happy that most of the items listed on the three (3) Gift lists were available on this Kohlâs store. There was a long queue in the payment area. We were patiently waiting for calling. We were so happy that Ms. Alberto, a female staff, helped us. As we had three (3) shopping carts, Ms. Alberto was very kind with us while checking each item. She worked really hard because the total number of the items we had purchased was close to 30. When we showed her the coupon on our cell phone, she performed the discounts accurately to make sure we were happy with what we had bought because we paid the prices as we expected.
