We have a (nearly) 4 year old very cute girl who has not been socializing for the last couple of years due to several ânot so greatâ experiences at another unrelated day care company. We were, honestly, unsure of what our next step would be to reintroduce her to being around other dogs again, as she has developed some bad habits in the interim. When No Leash Needed opened in Ellisville, which is right up the street from us, we thought this might be just the answer we were looking for. We had actually experienced the Valley Park NLN with our older girl several years ago, but when Covid hit and then with the lengthy drive there, we just stopped going, although we really liked the quality of care they gave her. So fast forward with our younger dog, we started with Day Camp, and it was apparent to all that our girl needed some extra TLC and patience in getting her back into the pack situation again. The entire staff has been extremely helpful and positive in doing what is in her best interest and over the last several weeks she is doing really well adjusting. We enrolled her in training with Alex and over the last 10 days weâve seen so much improvement, contentedness, and overall happiness coupled with marked improvements in her socialization, not just in the daycare situation, but in our neighborhood walks, also. Alex has a very patient, laid back, no-nonsense approach which we really appreciate. Now that her training has concluded we will continue with the day camp scenario and we feel confident that our girl will remain safe and happy and we will continue to learn from the staffâs observations and suggestions that are specifically aimed at keeping our little girl...
Read moreWe boarded our puppy here in October. The initial evaluation was smooth with no concerns. He is well socialized and we regularly attend trainings classes and dog parks with no issues. During his stay we called multiple times with concerns about not seeing him in the yard for several hours at a time, even though we paid for full day camp along with boarding. During his stay there became some concerns about him being overly friendly with some of the dogs. Staff did not let us know there were issues until we called. Considering he is a young and very active dog we decided it would be best to pay for additional one on one play to relieve some energy after being crated and before entering the group. During these times the trainer walked around the yard, giving him little to no attention. Staff commented that this was helpful but we continued to notice he was not in the yard often. Staff was not proactive and he was continued to be crated for the majority of his time. There were also days where we did not receive updates. We picked him up as soon as our flight landed. He was anxious and it was clear he was not given the attention he needed. We brought our concerns to management and they discounted his stay and apologized. We will not be bringing...
Read moreOur sweet doggie had a bad experience at another doggie daycare in the area. We were hesitant on taking her to a new place, but out of necessity we gave it a try.
When we had our evaluation, Macy was shy and nervous. NLN accepted her and she had 3 visits the next week. They have a promotion for 30 days of unlimited daycare for $99. We recognize she really needs the socialization and activity during the day so we took her a few times the next week. By the third week, Macy was "ready" every morning and acted like she WANTED to go to daycare.
We really feel like Macy gets extra special care at NLN (even though we know they treat all the doggies the same). She seems happy when we pick-up and doesn't seem to be as mentally exhausted as she was at the prior daycare.
I highly recommend No Leash Needed in Ellisville. Tell them I sent you there for a discount on your...
