Dollar General — Local services in Emmitsburg

I would like to say that this dollar general was a disaster but over the last 2-3 months it has been great. Customer service too. But then I find out that a really nice girl there was set up and terminated? It’s so wrong and disrespectful and probably has messed her up financially too by waking up to a message of being fired. I really don’t want to go back here and believe dollar general needs to step up with how they treat their employees and maybe they wouldn’t lose so many people. This girl works hard every time I go in. I think they should definitely give her the job back and appreciate everything her and the new hard working employees have done for the store in such a short...

The store is in a good place but it really doesn't have anything on the shelves because they have no help there they have one person stalking the shelves and doing the cash register the store is a mess they need help so badly because one person can't do it all and who ever runs that company is a lazy Because they should get out of behind the desk and help out the store the store should be shut down if they can't get some help and the people that r working there r so sweet and nice and they r working so hard they all...

I understand it’s dollar general and good help is hard to find, this said when there are people at the checkout line and you have 1 employee working the whole store, perhaps that’s not the right time for said employee to be standing out front smoking a cigarette while people inside are literally waving their hands trying to get help for over 3 minutes.

Please try to have at least 1 worker ready to assist...
