My husband bought a recliner from Ivan Smith Furniture the middle of October and for whatever reason he got a lemon. He called the store for the gentleman who sold it to him in December when he developed problems with it. Mr. Velasquez was on vacation and his staff assured my husband they would be more than happy to take care of any problem he may be having, however he preferred to wait and deal with the same person he bought the chair from. The customer care department of Ivan Smith called my husband and asked if they could come out and inspect the chair so they could have a claim already started when Mr. Velasquez returned..My husband agreed and a very nice young man came out and inspected my husband's chair. He also.explained to him that they could rebuild it and it would still benunder warranty; however my husband wasn't comfortable with this solution. He called Mr. Velasquez and told him.what.had.happened with his recliner. He also told.him he wasn't comfortable with them rebuilding it. Mr. Velasquez immediately assured my husband they would take care of him. He had just.returned ffrom.vacation and said he needed a little time to check things out and he would get back to us.    Read moreI recently purchased a King Size Mattress and Box Spring Set. We haven't slept on it yet, as we are building a house and all our furniture is being stored until the house is completed. But while in the store shopping, the visit was pleasant and leisurely and I was given lots of time to shop and test the mattresses on display without being pressured by the sales person. I really appreciated that. The entire transaction was processed efficiently and professionally by the office clerk. She even allowed me to delay delivery for about two months after the purchase. Since it will be a while longer before I can say for sure if the mattress lives up to my expectations, I am leaving a 4 Star rating now. Hopefully Ivan Smith will allow me to leave an update on the mattress.

   Read moreI had a great experience with Diana in the Emory store over the phone. She went above and beyond to find me the items I wanted that were about to be discontinued. She coordinated with several other stores to ensure I got the full bedroom set I wanted for our new house. Not many places will go to bat for you, calling supplies and other locations to meet their customer's need. I give a big Gold Star to the Emory location. I can hardly wait for the delivery. I'll update my review after they arrive. But I have a feeling the Emory locations of Ivan Smith will be my first stop when I furnish the rest of our new home in the coming months.
