We saw reviews online and decided to make the drive from Quinlan. We are new to the area and wanted to find some solid "go-to" places. I will start by saying, I am hard to please when it comes to food. From the minute we walked through the doors we were treated so good. The owner (and chef) wife was the sweetest person, I was trying to order something that wasn't exactly paired together on the menu and honestly I was making it difficult to understand exactly what I wanted (according to my husband) but the waitress and owners wife were so patient and kind and knew exactly what I was talking about. They made us fresh brewed iced tea and we didn't have to wait long to get our food. It came out hot and looked amazing. They were large portions and when I tell you that the fried rice was the best I've ever had says something! The ingredients were very fresh and the honey shrimp was AMAZING! This is a hidden gem and definitely is our new go-to. If you haven't tried CK's you are missing out! If I could give more...
Read moreOrdered pick up about 4:30 Saturday. When we arrived the Pad Thai was still cooking, which was not a problem at all, so my son and I sat down to wait. The owner, I believe, came to us and asked if we wanted a sweet tea since they were still preparing our food…very nice and thoughtful. We ordered chicken pad Thai, chicken Japanese teriyaki with white rice, crab Wontons and spring rolls. The food was hot and make with such fresh ingredients. It was some of the freshest and healthiest Asian food I have ever eaten. The food tasted very good. I personally would not order the crab wontons or spring rolls again. They were ok but just not as good as the main entrees. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Emory. Such a nice find in a small town. Keep up using the freshest ingredients! Thanks for the...
Read moreUpdate: Had lunch here last Friday. Had the Mongolian beef noodles. Sooo good! There were cut up mushrooms and onions in thexdish too. Everything went together with the sauce. Not to sweet, not to bitter but just right. You gotta try it!
Original review:Went here for lunch and had the beef lo mein. Im not much on asian dishes but the dish was very flavorful and was a good portion. There were a few customers but the wait was not very long before my order came out. The staff seemed to be friendly and the cashier (also my waitress) while I was paying out, shared with me some of the other tasty dishes I need to try on my next visit. I believe the prices and portions were a good value for the money. If you want asian food and are in Emory I'd certainly recommend stopping by and...
