Giving it two stars because the young man that was working, presumably taking orders, cooking, bagging, car hopping, and just about everything else was hustling!! I hope that Sonic takes care of this kid because he for sure has the drive to work. As for the food, pulled up, ordered on the app, 25 minutes later the car hop brought the food. EVERYTHING was wrong!!! Nothing was right at all. Had to have been someone else’s order. We hit the Red Button, 15 minutes elapse…same car hop, very apologetic, good hard working kid, says he will get it right. 20 minutes later, more bags of random food. At this point, after sitting there an hour in total, we cut our losses, gathered all the bags of food that had been given to us which were overall 31.3% correct, divided it up between us as to who may eat what, apologized to my kids about it not being what they wanted, and left. I do not know who has bought out our Sonic Drive in’s in this area (Sulphur Springs, Emory, etc.) but they should be ASHAMED of how bad they have got. You can’t blame staff shortages for this, if it’s this bad, you should cut your losses and just close for the day. Putting all this on that one kid who was just trying to hold that drive in together and do it all on what appears to me to be on his own is HORRIBLE!! Read moreI placed my order at a stall and paid with a card. They were not busy at the time. There was only one other vehicle at the stalls. I waited. As time passes I noticed that people who were getting there after (5 at this point) me were getting their orders (food and drink). I pushed the button because it had been 25 minutes at that point and they were having no problem taking care of other people's orders in a timely manner. I was told there was only one cook so it may take a bit longer. Ok, thank you, I said. Then waited another 10 minutes during which time 2 more people with full trays of food and drink got their orders when they arrived after I had pushed the button to inquire what was going on. I don't know if they just over looked my order or forgot about it because I paid at the stall immediately after ordering, but this wasn't acceptable to me and I won't be returning for a while. If I hadn't already paid, I would have just left. My order wasn't large or complicated. I've made the same order multiple times and even on the busiest of days it's taken 15 minutes. I'm so frustrated right now because I gave myself ample time to get the food before my husband had to be at work, and still ended up having to take food to him at work...
Read moreI am a hard customer to please sometimes. This sonic has gotten a lot of good an horrible reviews. However this is my hometown Sonic an at some point you just want a Sonic drink so your gonna go no matter your past experiences. My morning service with Kim is always great! Now the afternoon an evening are hit an miss. However today we went late in the evening about 9pm I had alot going on husband outta town an just want Sonic real quick etc...I pull up the app it's not working I tried for an hour went up to the local Hotel just to connect to Wifi to make sure it wasn't my phone. Never got the app to come up. Finally got in line an made an order an of course just like I said I'm not always easy so it was a complex order an of course wanted my drinks at the app price. So the gal Karen at the window was trying patient polite an you could tell fairly new but she appropriately got her lead or mgr Tyler to help he came on handled it fabulously an just gave great customer service an everything was alright!!! Our food was great hot cooked perfect an everyone was happy in the end! These young folks need credit for when they are exceptional an they do just fine! It a hell of a time to work...
