My wife and I purchased a Firenze Credenza and a Lira Coffee Table - both in Chestnut - from Jacopo and Steve at Bellini Antique Italia. We had searched exhaustively for quality furniture that did not look like every other piece of furniture that you see nowadays. It was very difficult to find something to our taste, and something that was high quality solid wood, and wasn't cheap veneered MDF. We saw Bellini's website and, as their store was an 11 hour drive from our home, we asked a designer friend that lived in the area to check them out for us. Our friend came back with a glowing review about Bellini Antique Italia, their antiques, and their antique reproductions. With that, my wife and I decided to order 2 pieces of furniture - a credenza and a coffee table. When the furniture finally arrived, we were not disappointed! The quality of the pieces, the attention to detail, the fit and finish, were second to none. The craftsmen that Jacopo has building his antique reproductions are just that - truly craftsmen. My wife and I could not be more pleased with our new furniture. This was truly the best shopping experience I have ever had! From my first call to order an amazing terra cotta pot from Impruneta Italy Jacopo was amazing. He called Italy immediately to get my order in with his regular summer order. I knew these were custom made and expected a long wait. But what I didn't expect was the wonderful, regular updates I received including when it was loaded on a ship, when the ship arrived in Long Beach and when his order of pots arrived including mine with a photo! It was packed extremely well as it is 90lbs. I couldn't be happier. Jacopo even messaged me when UPS delivered it to make sure I got it. No matter what your interest, this shop is exceptional. I purchased 2 small terra cotta planters from Jacopo back in Late February and he was very helpful with helping me find exactly what I was looking for. My purchase was quite small compared to the usual purchases I imagine his business generally handles, but you’d never know it from the excellent customer service I received. Due to all the Covid-related shipping/delivery issues we’re encountering, I unfortunately didn’t receive my planters until 4 months after I ordered them.
