I am surprised at the poor service given the good reviews. Dropped a laptop with a screen problem off for diagnostics. After four days I initiated a call for a status update and it became clear that they had not even looked at the computer beyond a quick glance and did not have the right equipment onsite to even run diagnostics. Rather than get the right equipment (a simple HDMI adapter), the guy instead suggested that we start by ordering a new LCD screen and see what happens from there. The service person did not instill any confidence whatsoever so I elected to take the computer elsewhere, but not until after they charged me for 'diagnostic evaluation".

Just to respond to your response: The tech indicated that it might be a screen issue or a motherboard issue. He said that before ordering a replacement screen we wanted to project onto another screen to ensure that it was not a motherboard issue. He did not have a USB-C to HDMI output to test. He indicated that he was waiting for the cord from the Oceanside office but it never came. His solution was to order a replacement screen (which would take about 5 business days) to confirm that it is a screen issue. If this didn't solve the problem then the motherboard would need to be replaced. I would have been fine with any necessary repair. I had a failing disk drive with windows 7 and older version of QB which I need for my work. Declan was a true professional and was able to clone my PC and add a solid state drive which runs blazing fast.

Originally, I went to Geek Squad and they said there was nothing they could do for me because I was on windows 7. I am super happy that I called PC Repair on my way home from Best Buy. Our older Dell PC totally crashed recently Both my husband & I had used PC's with Windows throughout our careers, however we decided to switch to a Mac workstation, as we both were iPhone & iPad users.
