Wild Fork — Local services in Encinitas

So far, I really love this place—ignore the 1-star reviews! I live nearby and love cooking, especially grilling or BBQing, so I was excited to check this place out. The first time I came in, I had been meaning to stop by for weeks. An older gentleman greeted me, asked if it was my first time, and inquired about my preferences before recommending some of his favorites.

I ended up buying the ground bison, cheddar bratwurst, and a few ready-to-eat meals for the oven or microwave, including Shepherd's Pie, Chicken Alfredo, meatballs, and other appetizers.

So far, I’ve tried the bison, meatballs, Shepherd’s Pie, and bratwurst, and ALL of them were excellent! I loved the Shepherd's Pie so much that I came back for more, along with some buns. I’ve brought the frozen meals to work twice now, and they’re way better than any mass-produced frozen meals I’ve had before. Even the chicken was impressive—hefty and real—not the fake-tasting kind you sometimes get in frozen meals.

On my second visit, both employees were friendly and helpful, which added to the great experience. The prices here are also very reasonable—not as expensive as what I’d pay at Sprouts or Trader Joe’s.
