Britta's Boutique — Local services in Englewood

My friend and I went into this shop to browse and see what Briitas Boutique was all about. I loved the store when it was Basix. The owner of Brittas almost immediately accosted me as she aggressively started showing me “her lines” of clothing . She had noticed a bag I had in my hands was from another store next to hers. She began bad mouthing the owner of that store saying he only has knock offs. And she only has high end lines. Honesty I don’t care what kind of lives she has. I just wanted to browse. It was the most outrageous shopping experience I’ve ever had. She was beyond rude. After 3-4 minutes of her ranting she said “if you haven’t taken at least four items off the rack to try on I can see your not interested in buying and you are wasting my time”. My friend had promptly left after she heard what was going on. I finally looked at the owner and said “ you sound very angry”. To which she said a few things to me that were just awful. I’ve since talked with other shop owners on Dearborn and they said the new owner of Brittas is a nightmare and she is giving Dearborn Street a bad reputation. . My advise to everyone is DONT go in this shop. I will never go there again. And I will be sure to talk about this horrible experience to anyone along Dearborn Street. This is a cute little Boutique but don't shop there!  The salesperson was nice but the Manager needs some serious training! I was kind of surprised at how Super aggressive the Manager was & how hard she pushed her salesperson to constantly follow me around the store suggesting clothing without really letting me pick & look on my own. I had limited $ to spend so I decided to move on to some of the other shops before purchasing 2 of the things I especially liked there at Britta's. That infuriated the Manager! I could see her making all kinds of hand motions & facial expressions to her salesperson about me. It was very obvious she was visibly upset seeing the clothes being placed back on the racks. I told her I was interested in possibly coming back for 2 items & she purposely put them on display right at the front of the store. She did it right in front of me & then proceeded to say they were the exact ones I had tried on. She was extremely rude & told me she was sure someone else would buy them before I came back! It was very awkward! She was acting like a child. I have never seen a someone act so unprofessional on the job. Hopefully she gets the hint that being kind is better for business...Needless to say I decided I was done with that boutique at that moment. I didn't end up purchasing anything in Britta's & I...

one star is maybe only for some cute outfits . my friend and I walked into this store . no Hello , No welcome , just two people at front of store. I’m sure the owner and her co worker . We looked at many items , Cute cloths but nothing really stood out for us . my friend is a professional shopper . She will shop fast, walk and look at things, and if nothing catches her eye .she will walk out. We started to walk out. The owner said in a very rude way “ SO your not buying anything , your just walk in and are now walking out ? we said our husbands are outside . she said “ That’s why I close early because of people like you that walk in and walk out without buying anything “ We were so stunned by her remarks which were TOTALLY Unprofessional.
