Unfortunately I won’t be returning. I was extremely happy with the work of a particular artist. I received and classic set and then a hybrid fill and was absolutely satisfied. On my third time returning for a fill, the original artist was out of town so I was booked with someone “similar.” When arriving to my appointment I told the lash artist that I wanted exactly the same as the previous visit. She said she would look at the notes. I told her I wanted to keep the natural look. Well, when finished the look was far from natural. The lashes were extremely thick and over the top. I looked seriously terrible. When I walked in the door to to my home, my boyfriend hated them. My friend told me I needed to fix them. I called within 30 minutes after returning home to explain I could not wear these. I am a nurse and there is no possible way I could be taken seriously at the hospital caring for patients. The team was very, very professional and got me back in that afternoon for another artist to take and look see if they could help me out. Upon returning to the studio, I was told I could not get another full appt for removal and re-apply with an experienced artist until Tuesday (it was Saturday). I told them I could not wait until Tuesday because I have to go to work and it need to look professional and be taken seriously. I ended up having the lashes removed. TERRIBLE MISTAKE..because upon removing them, all of my lashes broke and now I have the shortest natural lash. I know that there is risk for lash breakage/damage when electing to get extensions but this is bad. The artist that removed the lashes even said (before she had started) that she can see why I think the extensions are too much because my natural lash is already very long. Well, not anymore. I’m disappointed, very disappointed and a frustrated. I was complimented many times after the first two times I visited Glam Parlor, and I definitely recommended them. That is not the...
Read moreUpdate: so I changed my stars from 1 to 5 stars because minutes after posting my experience, Rhonda the manager contacted me and apologized for my unfortunate experience. She reassured me she would fix this problem with the technician and offered me a complimentary removal and a complimentary full set and she got me in for the removal within the hour. Thank God for her quick response.
This was the worst experience ever. I asked for a very very light classic lash and I specifically asked her not to put the glue bonder that they normally use after placing the extensions because I'm allergic to it. She said she was going to do her best because she needed to pick up her boyfriend from work in an hour and a half. She ended up doing the complete opposite of what I asked. She put very heavy Hybrid lashes and she used the glue at the end after I asked her not to do it. She said she only put a little bit otherwise my lashes would fall in a couple of days. I was so upset! Not only did my lashes look horrible but she also used the glue! I ended up telling her to remove 80% of the lashes and she kept pinching my eyelids with the tweezer. Now my eyes are swollen from the glue I asked not to use and I have marks on my lids from the tweezers. Now I have to pay again to have the lashes removed! Waste of time, money and unneeded pain. ...
Read moreUpdate: I haven't come here in a while but needed to today and had a 45 minute express fill appointment with Kristy. I must say that Kristy was kind and did a good job on my lashes, however I am changing my previously 5* review down to one due to the rude attitude of the receptionist. She berated Kristy twice for running into another appointment while she was still finishing my lashes. We got a little bit of a late start (10 minutes, I was fine waiting) and then the chair wouldn't work, the button would not move the chair down into a bed so that was another 5 or so minutes we couldn't start. When we wrapped up, I made a comment to the receptionist that the reason my appointment went over was because it started late and the chair wasn't working, to which she was nasty and gave me attitude. I hope she reads this: you don't treat your coworkers and your customers like trash, especially when paying for a high end service. I would only go back to see Kristy if that rude, miserable receptionist wasn't there.
My first time getting eyelash extensions was at Glam Parlor. I was nervous but Courtney made me feel at ease and gave me the most beautiful eyelashes! Everyone who works at the salon is so kind! They really set the bar high when it comes to safety, cleanliness and precision. As long as I'm loving in Vegas, they have me...
