Mood- Hawaiian Food
Upon walking up to the counter I knew this was going to be a great experience. The owner was there and was beyond friendly. I honestly love great customer service.
I had questions, he had answers. This company is a love child from the dishes that his family has created back home in Oahu \with some new touches he added along the way. These dishes have been an evolving staple with the restaurants he grew up in called Side Street Inn. If you go online and check out their IG you will find their secret menu. So many dishes offered, but can only list a few. Plus they offered the right kind of POI. Now you know not every place sells that correctly.
Opted for the Korean Chicken,Kalua Pork, and Hamburger Steak - plus they have the Oolong Teas I love. Now can I say everything was perfectly wonderful. Yes I can. Can I say I truly felt the Aloha spirit. Yes I can. Goodness this will become my new Happy place to feed my addiction. Also, they allow you to do substitutions and upgrades. So nothing is really set in stone as along as time is permitted.
Interior is shared in the Commons. It is a shared food hall that is adorned with other restaurants. Everything was very clean. There are several table and chair arrangements.
Would most def recommend - pricing was very reasonable. Portions are very generous. You can feel the love and the authenticity of the food. Yes I am always on the hunt for TRUE AUTHENTIC Hawaiian food. And I am usually disappointed. No disappointments here. They offer daily specials that are always changing. I have plotted my...

Went back and tried their Salmon Inari Bombs. Was craving this for weeks and while it was ok it didn’t hit the spot. The salmon mix seemed low quality, very chewy/cheap parts and not fresh at all. The rest of the ingredients were good but because the salmon mix was bad it totally turned me off to the dish. The fact that I was craving this dish for weeks and their version failed to deliver says a lot about the item. Just being honest, the next time I’m craving Inari Bombs I’ll go back to Antidote LV, you can taste the quality and freshness in their salmon mix compared to here. For $20 sadly it was not worth it for me.

Had the opportunity to try this place but unfortunately did not get to try their poke. Tried the Korean garlic chicken and meat jun. meat jun was burnt and dried but their Korean garlic chicken was unique. It was tainted reddish color and the flavors were perfectly done. Not overly sweetened, cooked perfectly. Tender and moist inside. Portions were decent enough for price paid. Owner was friendly and recommend popular dishes. Located in a hallway of multiple restaurants near CSN Charleston. Will return for their garlic chicken and try out their...
Read moreThe service here is so warm and friendly! The guy running the place patiently described the different flavors of poke to help guide us in our decision making. He's totally got the aloha spirit thing going on. We got takeout poke to eat at home since we already had rice made at home. The Hawaiian ahi poke was delicately seasoned with shoyu, plenty of limu, and thin slices of onion and a smattering of chili flakes. The oyster sauce ahi poke was deliciously sauced with oyster sauce and slightly sweet. And the tako sesame shoyu poke was a tad spicy, with plenty of sesame flavor, green onions, and slivers of white onion. The ahi was pristinely fresh and in nice bite sized cubes--I really liked the sauce to fish ratio. And the tako was also very fresh and tender, not fishy at all. I will definitely be...
